The ozone hole over Antarctica shrank to its smallest peak since 1988, NASA said Thursday.

The huge hole in Earth’s protective ozone layer reached its maximum this year in September, and this year NASA said it was 7.6 million square miles wide. The hole size shrinks after mid-September.

This year’s maximum hole is more than twice as big as the United States, but it’s 1.3 million square miles less than last year and 3.3 million square miles smaller than 2015.

I remember back in the 70's we were all gonna die because the ozone was shrinking OR from the coming Ice Age. I'm still here, are you? Haha.

And the Beat Goes On.

They are basically just gloating over the fact that an unelected group of bureaucrats have been subjecting the private sector to their whims and suspicions for at least 29 years. Refrigerants are a joke, regulated like oxycodone, and the EPA just laughs when yet another industry has to spread em.

Seems Al Gore 1st tried to scam us with the shrinking ozone scam before he started pushing global warming.

It’s good to know my suffering with asthma, thanks to inhalers that don’t work, has made the situation better.

[Refrigerants are a joke]

And its effectively costing millions of dollars per year to constantly swap them out of systems. All costs passed on of course.

Right there with you fellow asthma sufferer. Basterds took the Freon out of all the rescue inhalers. None of the replacements are any good. Only option for me is stuff like ongoing ad vair but Lord please help me in an emergecy. Maybe steroids but they have bad side effects. climate dogooders are literally killing people.

The ozone layer is generated by the interaction of the energy from the Sun and our atmosphere/magnetic field. The more energy, the smaller the hole. The less energy, the bigger the hole. It’s self-regulating.

We’ve just come off a period of high sunspot activity. That is why it has become a smaller hole. As we go further into the period of low sunspot activity, it will open up.

And I remember back in the sixties they said we should limit our children to two because of population explosion.

Now it’s ok to let in tons of people from outside the U.S. and let them have families of 10 to 16.
