WASHINGTON (AP) Special counsel Robert Muellers grand jury is investigating a prominent Democratic lobbyist and a former GOP congressman for their involvement in an influence campaign on behalf of Ukrainian interests tied to Paul Manafort, according to a person with direct knowledge of the investigation.
At the center of the widening probe are Tony Podesta, a longtime Democratic operative, and Vin Weber, a former GOP congressman and leader of his own high-powered lobbying firm, Mercury LLC. The two men were hired as part of a multimillion-dollar lobbying effort directed by Manafort and longtime associate Rick Gates.

If Podesta goes, so does Hillary.
“former GOP congressman” = Boehner or Cantor?
I guess we can’t be THAT lucky!
Vin Weber.
Dominos are falling faster...
Is this a leak?
Vin Weber from Minnesota
= Weber
from Minnesota
Vin Weber. Did he go down in the House post office or House bank scandal?
There you go, again wanting me to read the actual complete article before posting instead of (in grand FR tradition) reading only the title and first sentence!
That’s one sentence more than a lot of us manage.
Since when was it your job Mueller to investigate anything other than “collusion” between Trump and Russia? How about investigating the real collusion when you headed the FBI? This whole affair is a sad joke on Sessions for recusing himself in deference to the RATS to land his position. Sessions is feckless, worthless.
Weber is considered one of the most prominent strategists in the Republican Party, serving as a top advisor on Dole for President in 1996, the Bush reelection campaign in 2004, and Romney for President in 2008. Weber also serves as chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy, a private, nonprofit organization designed to strengthen democratic institutions around the world through nongovernmental efforts. He is a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, where he is co-director of the Policy Forum. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute for Law and Politics at the University of Minnesota Law School and the nonprofit America Abroad Media. Weber is a board member of several private-sector and nonprofit organizations, including ITT Educational Services, Department 56, and the Aspen Institute. He also serves on the board of The Council on Foreign Relations and co-chaired the Independent Task Force on U.S. Policy toward Reform in the Arab World with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. In addition, Weber is a member of the U.S. Secretary of Energy's Advisory Board.
Weber was against a Donald Trump presidency, telling CNBC: "I can't imagine I'd remain a Republican if he becomes president."
F#%& him, and good riddance. He's a Swamp Creature through and through.
This thing might just take an amusing sudden turn. :)
A never-Trumper and the Rat Pack! LOL!!
jailing lobbyists? BONUS!

And this is the AP!
So, actually Mueller is investigating TWO Democrats!
