The stunning revelation by longtime operative Donna Brazile that the Hillary Clinton campaign secretly took control — literal control — of the Democratic National Committee a year before Hillary became the party’s nominee is the talk of American politics.
As it should be.
Brazile’s piece in Politico describes her shock at the discovery of formal legal paperwork between the two entities when she took the reins at the DNC in August 2016. Brazile had been tapped for the job when DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign. Leaked e-mails had shown how Schultz had been putting her finger on the scale to help Clinton while the insurgent Bernie Sanders campaign was making a serious bid to seize the party nomination away from New York’s favorite carpetbagger.
Her account features ridiculous and unbelievable melodramatics — she says she “gasped” when she found out the truth and that she “lit a candle in my living room and put on some gospel music” to calm her before she called Bernie Sanders to deliver the awful news.
But silly though Brazile’s prose is, her account is vitally important not only for all those who want to understand how American politics works but also for the future of Brazile’s beloved party.
First, it raises key questions about what was happening as Hillary Clinton faced a time of trial in the middle of 2015. Her reputation was taking hits as her evasions and denials and untruths about what had happened to the private e-mail server she had set up illegitimately in 2009 seemed to mushroom on a daily basis.
As this was happening, she found herself with only two semi-serious challengers for the nomination — Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
There was another person out there — then-Vice President Joe Biden.

Yes, it is going to be difficult for me to take her seriously until she addresses this issue sufficiently.
Can we trust a proven liar like Donna Brazile who SWORE that she did not give debate answers to Hillary before admitting she had?
Heck! Brazile had to be aware of the shenanigans because she was part of the Clinton machine for over 20 years. She is just trying to deflect and cover her behind.
The Democrat Party is NOT about democracy.
And yet she still fed hilLIARy the debate questions...

If I remember correctly, Biden dropped out, while being closely watched by Obola, shortly after the too little noticed “Golf Summit” between Bubba and Obola. Shortly before that, there were many reports of friction between the Clintons and Obolas. Looks to me like that summit was used to patch up differences and get the Obolas to agree to give the Witch their full support, support that was completely forthcoming thereafter. That’s when the fix was set and went in.
The rest of that disastrous Clinton campaign, though, was disgraceful. It's pretty obvious what happened there. Hillary Clinton was an awful candidate by any measure, had no genuine appeal to voters, and was a criminal to boot. Raising a bazillion dollars and making a White House victory seem like an inevitability was the only way to prop up that broken-down, feeble cretin.
This is the same Donna Brazile who admitted in March, 2017, that she leaked debate questions to Hillary during the primaries. Considering she did the rigging, how could she be “shocked, shocked, I say” to find that the election was rigged?
Remember right after the election when Brazile, as the then interim leader of the Democratic National Committee, was giving a pep talk to about 150 employees? A staffer went off on Donna, (google it) saying:
“Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this? You backed a flawed candidate, and your friend [former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz] plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself.
“You are part of the problem. You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change. You and your friends let this happen, which is going to cut 40 years off my life expectancy.”
Here is the punch line....the (right but obviously for the wrong reasons) staffer walked out, and while some people there agreed with tha staffer, one person said there was "overwhelming" support for Brazile.
We will be seeing the likes of these vermin in DNC power structures for a LONG time. And that is a good thing.

Yes Brazile is a long time veteran of the Clinton Crime Family saga. She could probably dump much more dirt on Hillary if they get into some serious mud slinging.
The case Podhoretz is making is that they also rigged it against any other significant challengers, Joe Biden in particular.
