Celebrities React With Fury Over Kevin Spacey’s Apology To Anthony Rapp

Celebrities and others were swift and blistering in their condemnation of actor Kevin Spacey’s Twitter apology to fellow actor Anthony Rapp early Monday.

Spacey, 58, issued the statement after a BuzzFeed News report alleged that the “House of Cards” star had sexually harassed Rapp when he was just 14. In his statement, Spacey did not deny the incident but said he could “not remember the encounter.”

“If I did behave then as [Rapp] describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” Spacey wrote.

The Oscar-winning actor then came out as gay, saying Rapp’s story had “encouraged me to address other things about my life.”

Apology? More like “I’m gay so you can’t ‘hold it’ against me.” card.

I’m sure glad I got my child-rearing out of the way back in the ‘70s when going to a local priest and threatening to break his face if he didn’t stay away from one of my boys produced results.

Today, I’d be jailed.

If he had come out before the accusations, they would have fawned and fallen all over him. But apparently, even Hollywood can spot a craven opportunist when they want to.

They are mad because it took so long for Spacey to officially come out, even though his sexuality was one of the worst-kept secrets in Hollywood for years.

The worm is turning in Hollywood, finally. They think this is going to go away, it’s not.

...and Michael Jackson, a homosexual pedophile who destroyed so many young boys, is still worshipped in Hollyweird.

At least when my wife & I lived in Hollywood many, many moons ago, this evil, satanic darkness was hidden and not openly seen.

He came out as gay! There, that settles it!

Fake news. No celebrities expressing outrage as advertised. Unless you consider Wanda Sykes a celebrity, but her complaint was the Spacey said he “chooses” to live as a gay man, didn’t say boo about the whole child molester thing.

This won’t sit well with the gay community who refuse to admit they just love underage boys.

Right there is where all the up blow is coming. Otherwise, they'd have patted him on the head for being gay and forgiven him because the "But, but, I'm gay" card usually gets them out of most scrapes.

Just last week, there was a new Michael Jackson Halloween cartoon that aired during prime time. They’re still pushing that sicko on little kids.

“If I did behave then as [Rapp] describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” Spacey wrote.

This statement tells us he's done this so many times, he doesn't remember that particular encounter. Anthony Rapp is (to him) just one more minor who got lost in the shuffle. Hopefully some of Spacey's other victims will now come forward.

“But gay scout leaders? No problem!!”

Haha, remember how a couple of years ago they said they would allow gay scouts but not leaders, so it was ok?

He’s creating something of an excuse for his disgusting behavior in being drunk, too, as well as a way to avoid admitting guilt by claiming no memory. Look for a “confession” of a long standing, hidden problem with severe alcoholism to the point of blackouts in the very near future, at which point he’ll disappear into rehab.

If the heat gets too bad, he can always go the Bruce Jenner route and all will be forgiven.

Spacey was not denying that it might have happened. That says he has done this to other children, but simply does not remember this particular encounter.

I think back on all those years the left kept all its internal squabbles under rigorous check and presented itself as a unified front against us. And as one hallowed domino kept falling, one after another, it seemed like we could never defeat this superhuman juggernaut.

And now I have never in all my life seen the left eat itself alive with such gusto. Trump won, and the very fortress of their Liberal Reich was breached. And now each little interest group is tearing into each other with tenderhooks and gnawing each others’ heads like a scene out of Dante’s Inferno.

This is the mighty arm of God at work. He is scattering the proud and exalting the lowly.

I think you are exactly right. He'll hide out in a rehab for a while, then declare himself to be grateful for the help he's received as he tries to rebuild his life. Anyone who criticizes him at that point will be denounced as cruel and insensitive "after all he's been through" and should be supportive as he tries to make a fresh start.

I will now be anxiously awaiting the proclamation from the Left/SJWs that 14 should be the ‘age of consent’, as 14 year old humans are so much more socially aware than they were in years past. Not kidding.....I am sure this will now be the claim.
