Why do people talk to investigators?
Hello, we would like to ask you some questions.
That’s nice.
Don’t ask me no questions I’ll tell you no lies. If you want to talk fishing I guess that’ll be ok.
“Why do people talk to investigators?”
Even if you don’t say anything, you can be indicted for that. (Think: Martha Stewart).
Well there is arrogance and poor judgment then there are things called subpoenas to testify before grand juries.
Why do people go on the view? okra wimpfree? ellen degenetate? etc, etc, etc.............
The lesson from watching the Martha Stewart case and the Scooter Libby case is Don’t Talk to Cops. And Federal agents are especially included in the category “cops”.

Mr. James Duane, a professor at Regent Law School and a former defense attorney, tells you why you should never agree to be interviewed by the police.
It is sad we have come to this, but over-ambitious prosecutors and police, along with inadequate safeguards for citizens from such, make it so.
Why? I do not know.
The standard ‘I do not recall’ Clinton defense should be used at all times. (Works for them, why not the opposition)
Hello, we would like to ask you some questions.
