The NFL has been hit hard with NFL boycotts, plummeting ratings, loss of ticket sales, and ultimately fans abandoning the league ever since President Donald Trump attacked those who chose to disrespect the flag. Despite all of this, Roger Goodell and the NFL have chosen to allow the protests to continue and haven't taken any disciplinary action on players.
Now, NFL stadiums have appeared to be taking a hit as thousands of seats have been empty. Just look at the pictures from the first set of games on Sunday:

Yeah, because until Trump said something, NO fans were pissed off at these worthless SJW vermin, right? And by the way, Trump didn’t “attack” anyone, he merely called them out for the anti-American bums that they are.
Dallas is playing in Washington.
Future food concession contracts have to be affcted. Vendors have to make money too.

The beauty of that is the ‘haves’ will resent the ‘have nots’ (or resent them even more).
There are numerous franchises/owners content to cash a $1B check for TV revenue and to hell with the W-L record.
But as those give-up teams continue to bleed fans and ratings it will affect the elite franchises and they may not view Rozelle’s Peace Treaty as inviolate going forward.
The pro game is being fantasy’d, safety’d, and reviewed to death. Games are drudgery now from chickensh** offenses and playcalling to officials throwing flags when the wind shifts. Tackles above the waist have all but disappeared due to paranoia about headshots so legs and especially knees are snapping like chicken bones at a record pace. Ask a player if he’d like to get the wind knocked out of him for a quarter or if he’d like to undergo ACL surgery and rehab for a year.
Everyone associated with the NFL believes they are solely responsible for its success while denying they are causing its demise.

At the beginning of the year everybody thought Dallas was going to continue on their path from last year. Now they’re 3-3, haven’t been playing as well as their record, 2 of those losses were at home and it’s looking like they’re reverting to to the same form as most of the last 20 years.

The rest of the league spend the off season copiously studying the game tapes. I suspect Dak and Zeke have patterns that they are now repeating.
Jerry’s lucky season ran out. The ‘boys revert to normal 8/8 form — at least Romo can say he wasn’t the only reason.
Other than Defense, Offense, Special Teams and the Front Office, Dallas has the beginnings of a good team.

I imagine season’s ticket sales will be way down next year. I don’t know how many season’s tickets they sell, but I would imagine it’s a fair number of those occupied seats.
