ALBANY — Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner will reportedly be spending his prison time at a federal medical center in northern Massachusetts.
Weiner, who was sentenced in September to 21 months in prison, has been assigned to the Federal Medical Center, Devens, in Ayer, Massachusetts, City & State reported.
The medical center, located about an hour’s drive northwest of Boston, is one of the few federal lockups that offer residential treatment programs for sex offenders, according to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons website.

If Anthony Weiner is “ill,” then what about every high-school boy who’s sending pictures of his dinglebob to girls? Is there a cutoff age at which exposing yourself becomes a disease instead of ... whatever it was in high school ... good clean family fun?

Personally... I don’t understand the whole sexting thing to begin with. I have teens and heard WAY TOO MUCH about how commonly it occurs. That being said... a teen boy is a teen boy. A grown man should know better. A grown man with a political career, education, a wife and child.. should definitely know better. I don’t think he is “ill”.. I think he is a pervert. IMHO society has changed the terminology for “perversion” or “lack of morality” to “illness” so it is more respectable.
