Complete Headline: Dallas police were WARNED Lee Harvey Oswald would be murdered by a 'committee' - but still sent him to his death, infuriating FBI head J Edgar Hoover, newly released JFK documents reveal
The murder of Lee Harvey Oswald could have been prevented after the FBI were warned of his impending death - but Dallas police failed to protect him, it has emerged.
Nearly 3,000 documents related to JFK's shooting have been declassified by The White House, among them remarks made by then-FBI boss J Edgar Hoover the day Oswald died.
According to Hoover, the FBI were contacted by a man who said a 'committee' was plotting to kill Oswald, who had been arrested for killing the president; the feds then told police in Dallas to protect the presidential assassin.
Instead, Oswald was walked out in front of a crowd, cameras - and local nightclub owner Jack Ruby, who marched out and shot him dead.

I wasn’t working that day.
Well, he was a patsy that brought a military rifle to work with him. Other than that, you’re right.
He also killed Tippet, and would have killed the arresting officer if the officer didn’t jam the gun with the web of his thumb.
Oswald drew on him.
I’m not convinced Oswald acted alone, but I am sure he was committing subsequent acts that made it look like he was a willing killer.
I think he fired from the school book depository, and likely killed Kennedy.
It was the Mob. Even worst for it than Cuba was the massive prosecution of mob leaders and hundreds of other which Bobby Kennedy was leading.
At the end of LBJ’s life he admitted than he did not believe the Warren Commission’s claim of a Lone Assassin.
Jack Ruby had been an Associate of the Mob for 20 yrs. and had hundreds of contacts within the Dallas P.D.
Well there is much evidence Oswald was working for the CIA as an assassin. He seemed to “love” communism. But where does a coverup start? It starts at Oswald, everything about him , his personality, etc. Have been changed to reflect the official story.
I think he came across a plot, and decided to do something about it. I bet he was as patriotic as they come.
Read “Me and Lee.”
Your assumption is only valid if there was no conspiracy to kill him. But there was, no matter the attempts at placing the blame on a irrational random act. Ruby knew very well when the transfer was going to take place.
By the way, I saw all those dudes, having a smoke break, in the very garage. I was walking through to get a car.
It was in 1991 or 1992. They were shooting “Ruby.”
But the Mob wasn’t.
It has.
Have a buddy that was working about a block from the plaza and had just purchased a surplus 98 mauser ....it was in his trunk on that fateful day. To this day I still call him the man on the grassy knoll .....:o)
Um, filming "Ruby."
Wow ...
Its obvious someone wants us to believe that.
Very little in the testimony of the Dallas PD is credible including the differing and inconsistent accounts of Oswald’s arrest.
He made shots that world-class marksmen could not make with a gun that was total crap, had been moved back and forth between New Orleans and Dallas in a blanket, had been buried, had never been practiced with, had never been sighted after all that. Suuure he did. I’m sure he flew up to the sixth floor of the TBD, too.
How can anyone with any awareness of all the lies that has come out of the Deep State and its propagandists believe that Monument of Falsehood and Deceit the Warren Commission Report is beyond me
All the effort of the powers that be was trained on selling the Big Lie, the Lone Assassin.
It means they were in on the JFK murder snd the coverup. This would point directly to LBJ.
Seems to be repeating itself in Vegas.
But if you buy into one theory, he’d just have had to get him another time. That theory being that Oswald, Ruby, and Tippit were co-conspirators, members of a cell you might say, and each was given orders to take out one of the others. Oswald killed Tippit while he was on the run and Ruby’s orders were to kill Oswald. Was this Ruby’s plan and that’s why he alone survived? Who knows.
