Colin Kaepernick was invited by NFL players to attend the next meeting with owners, according to multiple reports including Andrew Brandt of the MMQB.
NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart said he was unsure whether the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback would attend. Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports! reports that Kaepernick will attend and players are happy to have him join.
Kaepernick's lawyer said that no one from the NFL reached out with an invitation to last week's meeting in New York City where owners, players and commissioner Roger Goodell discussed the ongoing protests during the national anthem before football games.

What an a$$hole.
Maybe Kapernick can kill a few white privilege devils while he is there.
The NFL has a deathwish, they still don’t get it.
The players just keep digging the hole deeper and can’t seem to see it.
NFL should invite that black sheriff who speaks speaks so well.
I predicted this two weeks ago.
So right. They have let the “your feelings are important” generation take over.
I think that every morning I will announce I am heading to the Super Bowl for a little while.
The NFL is going to be wearing this POS around their neck for a long time.
Did all the players invite him or just the idiots?
I hate to say this, because it will come of as being... well... racist.
We have given some of these players a lot of power, and it’s a real learning moment to look at what they are doing with it.
Oh, no, not me. Them!
Joe Lockhart continues the devils bidding. Job to job. Whomever is keeping the list please put him in the top 100.

Why the hell would he have expected to be invited last week? To point and laugh at the sales charts slipping downward?
He has no more reason to be included, as a civilian, than I do. He actually should be shunned by the players, not encouraged..
You may have just won the internets.
JOE LOCKHART? bwahahahhaha..Clintons former mouthpiece? The Obamas bought his house in DC
Throw un the interwebs as well for the winner.
Agreed. He is not a player, has no reason to be there except to be used by other players as a virtue signal or attempt to guilt trip the owners into some other course of action.
If players keep guilt tripping and nagging, they will either be replaced or the league goes bankrupt.
