Colin Kaepernick was invited by NFL players to attend the next meeting with owners, according to multiple reports including Andrew Brandt of the MMQB.
NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart said he was unsure whether the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback would attend. Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports! reports that Kaepernick will attend and players are happy to have him join.
Kaepernick's lawyer said that no one from the NFL reached out with an invitation to last week's meeting in New York City where owners, players and commissioner Roger Goodell discussed the ongoing protests during the national anthem before football games.

It's amazing to witness just how out of touch these billionaire owners are. Commissioner Goodell said they are not politicizing the NFL but they believe in social justice. What do they think social justice is? It's about using the power of government to legislate equality. It can go by another name and that is communism.
These commies running the NFL think they can fool us trying to pass off this political garbage as something totally different. I am so glad patriotic Americans see through their ruse and they losing fans as a result. I still like pro football and would gladly welcome a new league that keeps all that garbage out of their league.

The league has already tried and failed to frame this thing as them versus Trump. Now they’re trying to frame it as players versus owners. Nobody has mentioned the fans because they don’t dare to, and when they’re finally forced to it will be because the fans aren’t there.

What you need at the next NFL meeting is one single owner to step up and explain the NFL business concept. You sell jerseys, hot-dogs, viewing rights, and tickets. All that profit goes into one pot. If the revenue in that pot shrinks...something happens, and it’s not a pleasant thing. The business concept does not include a social media waiver or some social justice cause.
By the time you add up fan paraphernalia losses, viewership losses, and tickets which weren’t sold...I would take a guess that 2017’s season meant a 10-percent loss over last season. It also puts future negotiations into a spiral with the TV networks because of fewer viewers.

Athletes including those visiting a city state in ancient times have always been expected to show respect for the flag or anthem or gods —� of the host polity - going back to Roman Empire and before. The least these f u k k I n ingrates can do is respect our own anthem or flag for three minutes.
