Disney Channel will introduce a gay storyline between two young boys this Friday when the premiere for the second-season for the popular series Andi Mack airs.
The childrens series will show one of its young male characters realizing he might have developed romantic feelings for another young male classmate, according to the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday.
The series centers around the main character, a 13-year-old girl named Andi Mack, played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee, her unique family situation and her two best friends, Cyrus (Joshua Rush) and Buffy (Sofia Wylie).
When the season premieres this Friday at 8 p.m. viewers will see Mack trying to sort out her feelings for her friend Jonah, played by Asher Angel. At the same time, her best friend 13-year-old Cyrus realizes he too has feelings for Jonah and shares his thoughts with Buffy.
According to the report, Buffys reaction and the scene are to serve as a positive role model for both kids and adults. What follows will be a series of revelations over the next few episodes with Cyrus ultimately this season realizing he is gay and coming to accept that fact.
Andi Mack is a story about tweens figuring out who they are; Terri Minsky, the cast and everyone involved in the show takes great care in ensuring that its appropriate for all audiences and sends a powerful message about inclusion and respect for humanity, a spokesperson for Disney Channel said of the upcoming season.
The average viewer age for the series is 10 years old.
I was trying to watch The Middle reruns on ABC Family (now a different title, but still a Disney channel) and they kept running sick ads for a show called The Fosters that showed two 12-year-old boys kissing.
ABC Family was intentionally sick from day one. Pat Robertson owned The Family Channel and required ABC to keep the Family designation as a condition of sale. They met the requirement with glee. Immediately, they ran Theres Something About Mary with the tagline, Adults are family, too! And, its been a far-left pit ever since.
Nothing more than “in the last days. . . . .”
Youll have to narrow that down, LOL. Hesseman? I remember a fat guy, a tough, a cute redhead, and I think Mike Tysons ex-wife.
Walt’s kingdom has lost its magic.
I hope the kids who were assaulted sue Disney into oblivion.
All the news out there and they still want to go forward. Maybe they can get that Nickelodeon child molester to direct.
This is called “grooming.”
Disney channel/ABC have been anti family, anti parents for a very long time. Our grandson is very regulated as to what Disney/ABC shows he is allowed to watch. It ain’t Walt’s Disney anymore, now it’s Disney’s Wonderful World of faggotry, socialism and fractured family tales.
He’s the fat guy
The Disney Channel has gone downhill since I was a kid.
DIsney has been pushing sodomy for years now... Discrete and small, but its been in most of their movies of the last few years.
Given the place is full of pedophiles its not surprising to say the least
Disney Channel has pretty much always been swill...
Other than reruns of the classic Cartoons, which they never do anymore that I know of, it was never worth jack
No it hasn’t it just wants to groom your little boys and girls to ready to play with Uncle Harvey’s magic wand whenever he pulls it out
They used to show some decent movies and had a few family friendly shows that I used to like back in the 80’s and 90’s.
Terri Minsky is the producer for Andi Mack on Disney.
Comparing the two pictures in 3 and 13, are you sure that they're not actually the same person? Has anyone ever seen these two individuals, at the same time, together?
Looks fishy to me ...
Sickening.
I hope this means that a lot of people will stop going to Disneyland and boycott all Disney products.
Disney lost its creativity some time ago and now appears to be putting out numerous remakes. The live action Beauty and THE Beast felt incredibly flat and bland.
The Little Mermaid wasn’t “worldly.” If anything, Ariel actually sought a... ahem, higher plane than her current undersea world. And it certainly represented Christian values FAR better than the original tale did.
1991 would be more on the mark, as that’s when they had gay days at Disney starting up, not to mention thanks in large part to Jeffrey Katzenberg a whole lot of left-wing pushing starting with Beauty and the Beast when Katzenberg tried to shove in a needless second wave feminist message into the film. The Little Mermaid was definitely a LOT more conservative in its messaging, actually pro-traditional marriage, pro-Christianity, even pro-family values (say what you will about King Triton, but at least he actually TRIED to take his duties as a father seriously and actually made an attempt to save his daughter directly and wasn’t depicted as an idiot or a goofball, unlike the Sultan or to a certain extent Maurice), not to mention their films during the 1980s had largely conservative messages in its films. Even The Rescuers, which was pretty much UN propaganda, nonetheless had Penny being a devout Christian and showcasing child abuse in a horrific light.
