I don't know anything about Dan Schneider (or even about Nickelodeon shows), but this needs to be pursued hard. If there is any/much truth to the rumors, it is another monumental scandal. He is not merely some minor writer/producer, he is THE biggest figure behind a lot of kids' shows over the past 2+ decades. This describes the "Lifetime Achievement Award" he received in 2014:

There have been rumors swirling about Dan Schneider for quite some time. A quick Google search will show you how many people are catching onto this guy and questioning his innocence.
