Damn...I really miss that show.
These protesters would only have been happy
had the plane flown over and bombed the crowd
with frozen turkeys and killed and maimed hundreds.
The problem with this country today is that not enough
people have to kill what they eat.

So this is why there was an episode on WKRP about tossing turkeys?
I always wondered what that was about.
They are trying to open the door to shutting down our meat industry.
This is absolutely disgusting. Anyone who finds this entertaining qualifies as a knucklewalking cretin. THEY should be tossed from an airplane. Let’s see how well they fly. Probably as well as a domestic turkey with undeveloped wings who has been bred to be broad breasted. They can barely walk, let alone fly. It horrifies me that such scrapings from the bottom of the humanity barrel reproduce and vote.
Put little parachutes on them?
How about finding another way to celebrate Thanksgiving that doesn't involve such cruelty? Surely the good residents of Yellville (or whatever the heck that misbegotten town is called) can put their little heads together and figure out something else. They can toss pumpkin pies at one another, drown their neighbors in whipped cream, any of a number of equally "fun" things.

SOOOOOOOO...if I read that right, throwing them out of the small plane at low altitude doesn’t kill them?
Just want to get the facts straight.
I’ve seen turkeys flying low, just a few feet off the water surface, across Tablerock lake (MO/Arkansas) getting ready to roost for the evening. And that’s a big lake.
Don’t feel sorry for them. These are lazy turkeys.
In my opinion, if we throw them from a low flying plane and they can make it to the ground, they have a chance to get free.
Otherwise, we cut off their heads, drain their blood, gut them, stuff them, roast them, baste them, and eat them.
If I were a bird, I would raise my wing to opt for the thrown from the plane approach.

I say kill them, pluck gut and eat. Basted and 325 in the oven or inject and deep fry.
I qualify! I qualify! Do I get to state an opinion? Good. Any virtue warrior who harbors an opinion like yours should be tossed out with the turkeys. So there!
