A Mandalay Bay security guard was pressured to give his first interview about the mass shooting in Las Vegas to Ellen DeGeneres because company bigwigs feared a real journalist would have grilled him about the timeline, according to a report.
Police initially referred to Jesus Campos as a “hero” — saying he intervened about midway through the mass shooting and caused Stephen Paddock to stop firing.
But officials later changed the timeline and claimed he had actually been targeted before the killing started, not after.

The guy was shot with some kind of .306 round and is traveling and giving interviews a mere two weeks later? Where was he hit?
Also, who is this handler Steven Schuck accompanying him? Why is he even there?
Why would anyone want to go to a business that is covering up like this?

I dont know if he was pressured but I find it very odd he would go to Ellen for his first interview.

If what might contradict the official line he got out, then Lagas would be devastated financially, and they can’t have that no matter the cost to us, to the nation.
Even I wake up thinking the Vegas shooting must be a dream.
This investigation is beginning to have a bad smell.
This whole thing has gone around the bend from the out-of-the-ordinary weird to absolutely bizarre. Even the writers of the basic police procedural on TV can tell this mess is outside the boundaries of the usual process. Even stranger, there seems to be little desire among the media to jump into the fray to seek out answers.

Campos did change his story several times. The part of the timeline involving Campos kept changing.
Of course he did fine on Ellen. All the questions and answered had been written and rehearsed over and over until he got it right.
I heard that there were bullets in some of the bodies in one of the big casino hotel fires decades ago (and firemen allegedly taking cash off the tables)...
I heard that the seriousness of wound was in “abrasion” category.

Jesus Campos has no obligation to provide his story to Ellen or any other members of the media.
If he chooses to be interviewed, he can choose his interviewer and choose the questions that are going to asked.
