A few here seem to have very short memories. The question is when are you going to get behind Trump on this Sessions character? The article also includes Trumps tweets.

Everybody in Malfunction Junction has SOMETHING -- no matter how insignificant or huge -- on EVERYBODY ELSE! It's the WAY OF THE SWAMP!

If YOU can come up with ANOTHER REASON why Sessions has failed to APPLY the RULE OF LAW -- that applies to the rest of us MOST AGGRESSIVELY (THINK IRS!) -- to these miserable Swamp Creatures, PLEASE SHARE IT WITH THE GANG HERE!

Ya’ll get it. The article was written to incite the reaction it got. That’s Gateway Pundit. Worst of the worst on our side. What they reported was not taken in context. Lawyers have an ethical standard that they must adhere to. Some don’t...I get it. However Sessions believes that Rosenstien is ethical. We’ll see. It’s an inflammatory article intended to do just what it did. Let’s all jump on Sessions...even though most people posting here have no clue as to how the legal system actually works....

The powder puff contingent is out in full force tonight... Obviously, the smartest people God ever created knows exactly what the Attorney General is doing and have judged he is a moron, owned, and too dumb to tie his own shoes...

Some people suffer from delusions of their own mental superiority... Now there is some specific reason why ol Hillry banged up her toe/ankle... across the pond... but we will probably never know the real reason why...

Too many have been conditioned to expect to uphold the 'law' in the manner that liberals have done.. and they want a politicized 'liberal' Attorney General in Jeff Sessions... He was before the most morally, ethically bankrupt bunch and he gave them nothing...

Session does not appear to be the boss of the FBI although Lynch and Holder certainly were.

Someone needs to seriously drain the swamp and that means a lot of career elite professionals need to be fired or jailed.

Bingo! And the way I see it is that all of these judgements that have been made against Sessions apply equally to PDJT. Trump obviously concurs with everything that Sessions has/has not done- Sessions serves at the pleasure of Trump. And I'm not willing to go there yet.

When it comes to draining the swamp, the AG has left the building.

Rosentein's in charge.

Trump and Sessions are both smart men and I have believed from the beginning that they are on the same wavelength and playing a very long game. Their overly-public “rift” back in the Spring was so exaggerated and overly public that it had to have been contrived, and I sense a similar strategy now afoot with Sessions’s apparent nonchalance about and Rosenstein and McCabe. Trump has a history of giving his enemies enough rope to hang themselves, and he has enjoyed supernatural protection for the past two years. If Sessions is a rat, Trump will fire him. If Sessions and Trump are playing a longer game, we won’t know until their traps have been sprung. My benefit of the doubt is with President Trump.

I just can't see President Trump and AG Jeff Sessions missing the program, so to speak. I'm with you hoping they're playing the long game and playing rope a dope. If you think about it, they haven't fired anyone and now Mueller looks like toast along with Rosenstein with the Uranium One debacle and coverup. Comey's situation gets worse by the day. McCabe said he was going to 'get' Trump along with some choice four letter words.

Maybe Trump and Sessions believe they'll all hang themselves as more and more facts come out. Maybe then they'll panic and start singing like a canary to save themselves. I'm hoping this is what's going on.

Plus, as I said long ago, Jeff Sessions must be absolutely overwhelmed with the volume of data at his disposal that's prosecutable. The Clinton Foundation alone is going to take years to unravel - pay to play, kickbacks, bribes, selling national security secrets (?), not saying the overt sale is true, just sayin' we don't really know, potential tax fraud, RICO violations, State Dept. corruption, Huma laptop, the email/server case, 18 Federal laws broken, . . you could go on and on.

All the higher ups in the Obama Administration. . Clapper, Brennan, Podesta, Huma, Rhodes, Jarrett, Lynch, Rice, Panetta, Mills, Power, Comey, Rosenstein, McCabe, Sullivan, Obama himself. . and many others need to be investigated, and maybe they are.

I cut Jeff Sessions more slack than most because of the "so many felonies, so little time" concept. Like I said, he must have just been totally overwhelmed after the first month he was there, given the data he was privy to. It's almost like, "Good Lord, where do I begin? They're all crooked with multiple federal laws broken." Sessions seems to be to be a plodder and ducks in a row type of guy. He must know and feel, with the deep state on his back, that he has to have everything just right to proceed. . "The more evidence the better." He's been trying to digest all this material in the last nine months and do the day to day functions of the AG, which are probably many. Let's see where we're at after a year, on January 20.

Sessions recused himself for anything related to Hillary.

The claim I’ve heard is that it’s a very slow process trying to build cases that will actually be viable and actually send certain people to jail, one reason Sessions can’t act with lightning speed, as we’d like. Unfortunately, it is also giving the strong appearance that he isn’t in control and the Democrat #2 is.

Just ran into this: Sessions Will Review Obama’s Uranium Deal with Russia & Clinton Foundation Ties "Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Monday promised to review allegations that Barack Obama's administration knew about bribery allegations surrounding a Russian company's acquisition of 20 percent of U.S. uranium reserves."

Not that I've seen. Russia yes, Hillary no. If you have the data, let me know.

Sessions has left Rosenstein in charge of investigating Rosenstein.

I bet Trump was behind that. . See how he handles it. . Trump may have the good on Rosenstein and he wants to see what Rosenstein comes up with.

I think the President needs to go and appoint his own special prosecutor (I suggest Chris Christie) and go after Rosenstein. I might also go and start to review Sessions and see what corrupt activity he was into for the past decade.
