It was a good trip overall. The worst traffic is always near home, because of all the oil field trucks and those related to that field.

There was a lot of darn road work that had the Interstate looking like a parking lot at times. Just glad it was that and not an accident that slowed us down.

The challenge will be tomorrow, when I’m traveling roads that I’ve never personally driven. I think I have the route down, though. We’ll see. LOL!

Sounds like a fun drive .... NOT. It’s aggravating to get stuck in traffic tie-ups when all you want to do is GET WHERE YOU’RE GOING. aaaarrgggghh! At least you made it.

Good luck on tomorrow’s leg. You’ve travelled those roads as a passenger, haven’t you? It should come back to you as you go along and you can get to the lake without getting lost. It’s what we hope for any way. LOL

Got my fingers crossed. NYT and I traveled a totally different route last time, but the road connections are wonky and I don't trust myself on that route alone. LOL! At least I know someone close by to call if need be!

You'll love seeing THIS!

It won't be long before the live cams are on! w🦉🦉t!!

Hooboy! Taking a different route? I wish you luck. But if you have as much luck with studying the route with Google Earth as I’ve had, you should be fine.
Great that there’s someone to call if push comes to shove.

WOOHOO! SO nice to see Altera and hear her voice again! Looking forward to watching her and Mr. T again!

That reminds me ..... I looked in on Didi and Jasper’s house last night and darn if Didi hasn’t laid an egg!!! Poor girl doesn’t get much of a break from raising broods, does she?

Oh, my goodness! I knew they were on egg watch,l but I was really hoping she’d just say “no” for a bit. She never gets to catch her breath! LOL!

I guess my worst dread is trying to get on I-35. it’s a very busy freeway here in the metroplex. But I’ll do it. I know i can! Fingers XX’d! LOL!

VERY adventurous! The weather was gorgeous, and we did some hiking with my niece and her two boxer-dogs. Penny demanded to be the “Alpha”.

Maybe she’ll do like before ... lay a non-viable egg, THEN take a little break. She NEEDS one!

I can understand your dread. I hate taking the interstate, especially getting onto a busy one. It can be a hair-raising ordeal sometimes.
But you’ll do just fine and be on your merry way to the lake. I hope the weather is beautiful while all of you are gathered together for the shoot.
