Attorney General Jeff Sessions said during a Senate hearing Wednesday that the errors former FBI director James Comey made in the Hillary Clinton case are still not “fully understood.”
Sessions justified the firing of Director Comey during his testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and asserted that the errors Comey made in the Clinton case were far more devastating than people realize.
“Sen. [Dianne] Feinstein, I don’t think it’s been fully understood the significance of the error that Mr. Comey made on the Clinton matter,” Sessions said. “I don’t think I’ve heard of a situation in which a major case in which Department of Justice prosecutors were involved in an investigation that the investigative agency announces the closure of the investigation.”
“And then a few weeks before this happened, he was testifying before the Congress … and he said he thought he did the right thing and would do it again,” Sessions recalled. “So the Deputy Attorney General [Rod] Rosenstein … said that was a usurpation of the position of the Department of Justice.”

I believe that sessions stated flat out that he was not doing anything about the email scandal or anything Hillary for that matter.

THE DEMS AND THEIR NEWS MEDIA DON’T CARE. I actually saw on Tucker’s Show, a former Dem Ambassador say ‘this was almost 10 years ago! What is important is what is going on with the Russian manipulation of the election!’ I was reminded of that guy Tommy Vietor saying, ‘Dude, that was like two years ago!’ , when asked about the malfeasance of Benghazi. ‘News’ only matters if it is hurting Republicans.
The Entire Vegas ATF thing was quickly kicked to the ATF, ATF has punted to Law makers.

That is exactly what I was thinking. He is using that ‘newspeak’ of calling the FBI investigation a ‘matter -— the Clinton ‘matter’. The EXACT same phase Comey used as directed by Lynch.
Because he is under no obligation to explain his every thought and action in front of Congress. Or to FReepers for that matter.
Sessions maybe the biggest waste of money of all time.
Between the cost of the Russian probe and the Alabama election. The way it looks with his inability to comprehend his job it sure is a lost leader.

Anyways,, the FBI doesn’t investigate ‘matters’. They investigate CRIMES. He is calling the Clinton crime concerns a ‘matter’ just like Comey did!!!

Here is the standard by which our government decides to pursue or not...
..via “lack of public interest” or not.
The governments decision is not by whether there was any crime committed, treason, theft, murder, or whatever,
..the decision is made via the level of “lack of public interest”
Since ‘this was almost 10 years ago!’, and today there is a “lack of public interest”, therefore, this needs not be pursued by our own government.

It was 2010 and the woman said ‘it was almost 10 years ago’. I think MOST citizens want to know if their politicians are corrupt. But the Dems only want the info public, if it involves Republicans. And since they control 95% of the Media, most of these total corruption stories about the Dems are either not reported on at all or they disappear quickly.
