Ellen has a business partnership with MGM. This appearance is a controlled PR move by MGM IMO. He’ll appear, speak on script, cash a huge check from MGM and never be seen again.
No explanation that I’m aware of. Maybe sheriff Lombardo will clear the air at his next public cry fest.

Sounds like you may be close about what’s happening. Ellen made it clear Jesus was speaking of it once and never again. She also made it clear her show offered money and both men said they didn’t want any, but the show giving them NFL tickets. Also money to GoFundMe for victims, supposedly.

This is a prime example of how quickly some people start inventing wackjob theories. It’s going to turn out that Paddock was some guy who was a bit off. Then he got in the hands of a shrink who put him on medication that turned him homicidal/suicidal. In fact this is the case virtually each time these crazed shootings occur. People can futiley seek out motivations of the shooters but the common denominator is quite obvious.

My thoughts the same when I learned yesterday that he was appearing on Ellen. After a horrific event you go on Ellen to discuss your traumatic event. That is like 911 survivors, or any survivor of a tragic event showing up on her show instead of 60 minutes, or any news channel to tell their story. To me that is so disrespectful treating that horrific event as if it was a joke.
