BuzzFeed reports on a new study of 19,000 people in five European countries that found ‘very right-wing’ people are the most satisfied with their sex lives. Oh, we know.

He has the sex beat?) at BuzzFeed reports on a new study of 19,000 people in five European countries that found “very right-wing” people are the most satisfied with their sex lives. Center-right people, however, were slightly less satisfied than centrists, and it all went down from there.
“The old rules about correlation not equalling causation always apply,” study publisher Joe Twyman of YouGov told Ball. “Being very right wing doesn’t make you sexually satisfied, but nonetheless, these results suggest it is, in contrast to at least some stereotypes popular in the political world, those on the very right of the political spectrum who enjoy their sex life the most.”
This is only surprising to cultural libertines, who have for a century (Alfred Kinsey, anyone? Freud?) if not more maligned their political opposition with implications and outright statements that we conservatives are oh, so dull in bed. Don’t tell my husband, because I don’t want that to happen to us, okay?

I think conservative people simply tend to be happier with life, overall. Which given the “state of the world” is saying something!

To call yourself “very right wing” in those countries is pretty much where most FReepers are.
There does seem to be a trend. Though in France the left and the right are the same.
Maybe things are too loose, too indiscriminate for those on the left, and nothing is so empty as drunken sex with total strangers. It can’t be perceived afterward as deeply satisfying? Where falling in love or lust and dating for a while might make things more fun?
The Left is always deeply unhappy. With everything. Not surprising they are hard to please in bed.
Bill Clinton could not have been that hard to please. Getting there counted most.
Actually, Bill forced himself on women and enjoyed that. So while he may have been pleased, rape ruins your life somewhat.

My wife is social worker in SF
She HAS to be “liberal” to even have her job
But she’s no real liberal
