The indigenous peoples who populated the New World prior to the arrival of Europeans were arguably even worse than the hated white men who eventually conquered them, in terms of civility and wanton violence toward their enemies.
Indeed, far from things like slavery and genocide being introduced to the continent by Columbus and his successors, such acts of atrocity were already occurring widely among the various warring tribes of natives, who routinely enslaved, tortured, ritualistically slaughtered and even feasted upon their defeated enemies.
Thats right many indigenous peoples practiced cannibalism upon those they had conquered and oppressed. Is that really what leftists want to celebrate? Dont answer that.
Long before the white European knew a North American continent existed, Indians of the Northern Plains were massacring entire villages, explained George Franklin Feldman, author of the book Cannibalism, Headhunting and Human Sacrifice in North America: A History Forgotten.
And not just killed, but mutilated, Feldman added. Hands and feet were cut off, each bodys head was scalped, the remains were left scattered around the village, which was burned.
Tony Seybert, author of Slavery and Native Americans in British North America and the United States: 1600 to 1865, noted that the practice of slavery was already well-established in America prior to its discovery and subsequent settlement by the Europeans.
According to the eyewitness testimony of a Jesuit missionary named Father Barthelemy Vimont, who observed the Iroquois peoples in 1642, captives of the tribe had their fingers or hands cut off, were skinned alive and tortured for hours on end, then were scalped and mutilated in front of everyone.

They were worse than effing animals and absolutely deserved what they got. That’s the cold hard truth that nobody wants to admit. worse than animals.
bkmk
When the movie Apocalypto came out, I feigned absolute shock at how brutal indigenous people were to one another, to a lib at work. She was oblivious to the sarcasm, however and very sagely shook her had with a very saddy face on her mug.
Inner-city ferals are only a step or two removed from this behavior.
Yes, actually. It is all but "cultural differences we must understand and celebrate."
They celebrate Islam and its genocide, enslavement, chattelization of women, headhunting and, yes, even cannibalism. Cultural differences and all cultures are equal.
A great book!
Read the whole series!
I remember reading about one tribe that would take
a captive, make a small slit in their abdomen, pull
out a loop of intestine hook it on a tree limb then
make the captive walk around and around the tree, slowly
pulling out all of their intestines.
Noble savages.../s
Well, they don't get into cannibalism a lot. I guess the EBT cards keep them digestively satisfied.
They weren’t called “savages” for nothing...
Long pig...
Cannibals?
Here’s a little turnabout.
I DEMAND THAT ATLANTA RENAME THEIR BASEBALL TEAM!!!
THEY ARE CELEBRATING A BUNCH OF MURDERING CANNIBALS!!!
Not to mention torture was often the womens work and they took to it with zeal
Comanches to Iroquois
The women were cruel to captives
The Indians were unbelievably cruel and brutal to their enemies. They were not the "noble savages", as they are so often portrayed. They were heathen, cruel peoples.
Geez! THERE ARE NO PEOPLES INDIGENOUS TO THE AMERICAS!
and that is before white man’s firewater was introduced.
sounds like what those who want to “fundamentally change America” would like to do to those who don’t want it “fundamentally changed.”
I don’t know why people are so eager to brag about having Indian ancestors.
My mother was half Choctaw, whom I gather were fairly decent people, but I never felt the least urge to feel proud of the fact that that made me part ‘native American.’
Never liked them. Maybe too many cowboy and Indians movies as a child?
