Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said in a new interview that she will donate the money contributed to her campaign by film producer Harvey Weinstein.
“Well, there’s no one to give it back to. What other people are saying, what my former colleagues are saying, is that they’re going to donate it to charity, and of course I will do that,” Clinton told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.
Clinton also said she was shocked by the allegations against Weinstein, and she had no idea about his past of harassment.
“I certainly didn’t and I don’t know who did,” Clinton said. “But I can only speak for myself and I think speak for many others who knew him primarily through politics.”

In keeping with the liar liar pants on fire theme, Hillary said that she gives 10% of her income to charity every year and Weinstein’s donations will be part of that. In other words, she’s not giving Weinstein money away, she’s just using it so she gives away less of her own....if the whole 10% story is true. I’m calling B.S.

I don’t get this. Weinstein, or some organization controlled by Weinstein, gave money to Hillary, her campaign, or the Clinton Foundation, or some combination of these entities controlled by the Clintons. Why can’t she give back the money to the organizations controlled by Weinstein which gave her the money? Why would she say there’s nobody to give the money back to, and for that reason, she will give it to charity?

Since Trump was royally criticized for not disavowing KKK in milliseconds, who is going to ask Hillary what took her so long? Regardless of whether “she knew” it took her 5 days to say anything.
My guess is that she doesn’t want to appear to be supporting him financially.
But no matter to me. I have zero respect for any of them anyway, no matter WHAT she does with the money. She could give it all to ME and my position would not change.

You touch on a fact which the media have downplayed, and that is that the Clintons give a lot of money to their own foundation, and take a tax deduction for it.
In the Clintons 2015 tax returns, made public, the Clintons made a $1 million donation to their own foundation.
While apparently perfectly legal, the media were very disinterested in that financial transaction involving the Clintons. The same media who were clamoring for Donald Trump’s tax returns to go fishing, had a whopper in the Clintons taxes, but chose not to report and investigate it.
