DONALD Trump has held a meeting on the growing North Korea crisis in the White House's famous "situation room" along with the US Generals, reports say.
Trump is reported to have held a briefing on North Korea at the White House along with US National Security Council.
The situation room often hosts "war councils" during times of conflict, and was famously where Barack Obama monitored the mission to kill Osama bin Laden.
Tensions between the US and North Korea have been worsening as Kim refuses to give up his quest for nuclear capable ICBMs.
Yesterday, General James Mattis warned the US Army to "stand ready" for war with North Korea – and he was in today's major meeting.

Yes indeed it is about China. Kim Jong Un is bonkers - Thinking that he will back down when the tensions ratchet up is not realistic. He is not sane. China however is quite sane and REALLY wants to avoid any massive instability in NK. They have the power to make Kim go away for good. It will be costly, and dangerous to use that power so they would rather not, which is why we must give them good reasons to act.

Seriously, I would guess this is a head fake.......to keep China and the Norks on their toes....
But then again, a good head fake has some truth......
I would imagine the president and staff sometimes hold dress rehearsals in there to make sure all the comms equipment is working, to make sure everyone knows how to do their thing in there and so on. We wouldn't want them to all have to learn that stuff "on the job" in the middle of a real crisis.

There’s gotta be a way to go after these criminals without making South Korea too vulnerable.
Use precise intelligence and execution. Maybe infiltrate the DMZ and coordinate a DMZ malfunction with surgical strikes starting at the DMV itself.
Maybe infiltrate Kim’s palace guard and coordinate an assassination.. Maybe find resistance forces within NK and help them overthrow Kim’s criminal organization.
