From the article:

Reagan is considered a hero by many for what she did that day.

I strongly agree.

I worked briefly as a teacher and longer as a substitute teacher in the Acadiana area (St. Martin, Lafayette, Iberia, Vermilion Parishes)

From what I am reading and seeing, I do not want to be a techer in this area as the school administrators put too much pressure on teachers to maintain order.

Bringing a gun to school has happened multiple times AND only detected by other students reporting this.

A University professor in Education (who is also a Middle School) told me: Thank God for Mississippi. Otherwise, Louisiana would be last in quality of education.

In other words, Louisiana is 49th out of 50 states.

And now we have Democratic governor.

Many of these kids are the eternal optimists.

They are aware of their shortcomings, and yet some of them have amazing abilities.

I have always thought that if we didn’t invent computers, some of these people could have been useful on the ground and in space, as a human computer for navigation and other things.

I know of a guy that could draw any spot on earth (map), with a great degree of accuracy. He probably couldn’t do streets, but he could certainly draw maps of states, oceans, and nations.

There are bad egg students, and there are angels there too.

We get down on our youth, but there are some great kids out there if you know where to look.

Mainstreaming “Retards” into the schools is a failed Liberal agenda.

She was punched in the face by a football player. Does that seem somehow ludicrous?
