It seemed clear that they were all about to die, Mr. Wickland testified Monday, the first day of the trial of Ahmed Abu Khattala, who is accused of helping orchestrate the attacks. Then the attackers left, but moments later, thick black smoke from a fire they had set started to pour in. Mr. Wickland told the others to follow him as they crawled to a bathroom window, but he lost them in the choking blackness.

“To this day, I don’t even know where they went,” he said. “I was right next to them, and then that’s it.”

Four Americans died in the attacks. Mr. Stevens and Mr. Smith died from smoke inhalation in the burning building at the mission. Hours later, two Central Intelligence Agency operatives, Glen A. Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods, were killed by mortar fire at a nearby C.I.A. annex.

The men were killed, Mr. Crabb said, “because they were Americans.”

“And that man right there,” he continued and pointed to Mr. Khattala, “hates Americans with a vengeance.”

The latest State Department Friday FOIA Dumped multiple Clinton documents---Amb Stevens in Benghazi begged for help but was told that Hillary's State Department said there were no additional security forces that could be sent to help the trapped Americans.

She's such a dam frickin' phony. Look at her feigning sorrow as the bodies arrive in America.

It exists and the vivid lessons we have learned since Trump was nominated cannot be denied.

The Clintons aren't alone in thumbing their noses at the law. But they (especially Hillary) , as pointed out by James Comey; violated security law, sold influence as a sitting cabinet member, lied under oath, obstructed justice, destroyed evidence, embezzled private campaign funds to pay computer hackers to hide evidence under subpoena and payed campaign staffers with government funds. More than just excusing her conduct, Comey has exposed a deep down line of corruption that would lead to dozens of indictments if this were a corporate entity, a criminal enterprise or republican representative.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions who many hoped would be a strong voice for justice is as moot on the point as any who came before him. I believe the reason there will no prosecutions of anyone involved, including Debbie Wassermann Schultz, is that the corruption in our government, in the K Street lobbyist community and in the media runs so deep that if a serious investigation was begun and anyone started singing to save their skin the resulting exposure of and could end up putting half of D.C. in jail.

No one in either party will dare start that snowball rolling. Trump (I think) knows this and is looking for the right person to keep the secrets buried rather than open the flood gates and drain the swamp for real.
