Investigators are taking a harder look at Marilou Danley and what she might have known about the attack at a country music festival Sunday, with Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo naming her a “person of interest” and saying the FBI is bringing her back to the U.S. for questioning.
Danley, 62, was out the country at the time of the shooting and in the Philippines on Tuesday. “We anticipate some information from her shortly,” Lombardo said.

I think all that she can lay out is that the guy was spending tens of thousands a month on a gambling habit, and his millions that existed three years ago upon retirement in Florida? Mostly all gone.
She might be able to explain part of his fortune and how he got into property speculation in Florida...maybe even some money-laundering business on the side.
I think in the end...he was a pill-popper guy, with a loser lifestyle that he couldn’t handle, and he’d spent his whole life savings on a gambling habit. This was his ‘going out in a flame’ act. People won’t be able to grasp that and keep thinking he’s into Islam, or there’s some darker secret.
It may be just as simple and as pitiful as you describe.
Wealth alone does not guarantee that you’ll have true friends. Some lonely people become very needy once they find somebody. Paradoxically many such individuals have contempt for the people who do decide to treat them with some degree of kindness. The contempt comes from paranoia, pessimism and a fragile ego. I have no idea if this describes the gunman or not. I’m describing people I have known like this.
I read that he filmed himself during the shooting.
Okay. My first question is this; was he streaming that film to someone, or a couple of someone’s to prove he was completing his ‘work’?
If so, who was he showing this to and of course why?
I don’t even know if it is possible to track down where he may have sent the live video to. Who received the Periscoped film? He must have known he would not live through this to watch it himself.
She got some bad legal advice!
Even if she really is innocent, she must have been FORCED to return to the USA after this attack.
The U.S. just can’t force any foreign national to the U.S. If she came this quickly, it must have been voluntary.
