Doubtful hallways are monitored, visually, 24/7 like gaming tables. If I stuck this on the door frame minutes before the crime started, it wouldn't be seen by security.

I speculated on another thread that the camera in the hallway was set up AFTER his shooting spree. For one thing, it would explain the long gap in time between when the shooting stopped and when the SWAT team broke down the door to his room. It would also explain why hotel security couldn’t react even if they saw him doing this. They already knew they had a crisis on their hands that was way beyond their capabilities to deal with.

Hotel security notices nothing. That is what bothers me: Casinos are infested with security cameras for obvious reasons. Teams watch those cameras constantly.
They saw nothing? If this guy did multiple trips, security thought nothing of it? This stinks more than her Thighness.
