Two days after an attacker opened fire on concert goers in Las Vegas, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc) announced he was shelving legislation to deregulate suppressors.
-snip-
Ryan has now shelved the Hearing Protection Act, which was introduced into Congress on January 9; it is the legislation containing suppressor deregulation. The Act does not legalize suppressorsas they are already legalrather, it removes the burdensome process for acquiring them and erases the federal tax that must be paid in order to receive permission to posses one.

Shelving it makes political sense even if he did agree with the bill. Timing is not everything but it is key.
Mr. President, this man MUST be defeated in next year's primary.
He was just waiting for the right (wrong) opportunity.
He is a Marxist comrade to Clinton.
Then say NOTHING. But that's not the Putz Ryno way ... No, instead he bowed and groveled and made his obeisance to Hildebeeste.
Bullseye!
Frankfurt School. The Uniparty. Controlled opposition.
Correct term for a silencer, created by Hirim Maxim out to reduce decibel level on firearms.
Bullshit. Try your anti-gun crap over at DU ... you'll find a more receptive audience.
It's long past time to stand up and REPEAL anti-gun laws, not cower before Chuck and Diane. You poltroon! You would offer them yet another bite of freedom, in the hope that they will be satisfied for a while?!?! We have seen how that foolishness goes. They will just come back for more ... until all guns are outlawed, and their boots are upon our necks. Turn your brain back on.
Paul Ryno is a boil on the American people!
Thank you.
I really did not know that.
“Lets not allow our anger at Ryan cloud our judgement. Nehlen is too green a candidate to convince people to take a chance. We need someone with a thicker political resume, if they exist.”
While I agree with the sentiment, it’s not as if Nehlen goes straight to Ryan’s Speaker position.
Let’s just FIRE RYAN, and let the chips fall where they may, and that TINY corner of our state can just sit it out for a while.
However, if we can FIND a TRUE CONSERVATIVE besides Nehlen to Primary Ryan, I’ll be all for it! :)
Remember: Hillary was supposed to be elected. She was the anointed successor to Barack the Destroyer. How far back does the planning for this mass-murder go? Before the election? That was less than a year ago.
“...The problem with them, is that they completely short circuit any resistance to the Left. They are the two most important Leftists on Capital Hill....”
Of course. It’s planned that way. The UniParty has put mechanisms (both RATs and Elitists) to ensure that the UniParty’s agenda is always fulfilled. It’s all about money and power. The “Eddie Munster” of the House and the “Post Turtle” of the Senate are both in those key positions to do it’s bidding. Nothing more, nothing less, especially nothing less. No one wants to end up like Seth Rich. The swamp is deep and wide in DC.
Ryan will just get replaced with another GOPe stooge, YOUR REPRESENTATIVE IS THE PROBLEM, PRIMARY THEM ALL WITH A REAL CONSERVATIVE.
.
Paul Ryan has always been aligned with Hitlery.
Wonder if he beds down with her too; he looks kind of tran....
.
That mental image is just beyond disgusting ...
Where’s the brain bleach?
Agree.
Wait till all the drumbeats stop and pass it at a later date.
I think these two are very willing to go along.
I don’t see any need for someone to blackmail them.
Ryan thinks he’s the smartest political leader ever.
It’s pretty obvious what his problem is. He’s just stupid, and yet thinks he’s running circles around everyone else.
.
>> “Wow. Are you sure you’re at the right website?” <<
He’s usually out in the left field portapotty with his ideas.
.
Just beyond, or waaay beyond?
His face makes me sick anyway.
.
nearly 1 million babies killed each year. Don’t let the Dems say they are for saving lives.
