Multimillionaire Las Vegas shooter, 64, was a hunting enthusiast, licensed pilot and gambler with no criminal record who owned a $400,000 home in Nevada retirement community........................The man suspected of opening fire at concertgoers attending a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night was a local resident with no prior criminal convictions in the state of Nevada.
Stephen Paddock, 64, lived just 90 minutes outside Las Vegas in the city of Mesquite, where he purchased a home in a retirement community for just over $369,000 in 2015 according to public records.
He lived there with his 62-year-old girlfriend Marilou Danley, the same woman police announced they were seeking to question on Sunday night as they began their investigation into the horrific terror attack.
Paddock had both hunting and fishing licenses according to public records, as well as his pilot's license, but no criminal record in the state of Nevada.
The retired accountant had worked as an internal auditor at Lockheed Martin for three years in the late 1980s, and was a manager and investor in apartment complexes located in Mesquite, Texas and California which made him millions according to his brother.

I agree - there is no way for us to know what really happened. Everyone is accepting what they are being told very easily.
Or possibly he planned to or did go on trophy hunt/s in Alaska. He may not have gone hunting locally so people that knew him were not aware that he had or at least planned to hunt in Alaska.
Reporters interviewed his neighbors today; most knew the girlfriend- at least to talk to. They all said he was unfriendly, one even said he was aggressively unfriendly. Not sure how much people would know about you if you didn’t interact with people.

Yeah, so far most stuff being reported about the shooter seems pretty sketchy and/or less than certain. A LOT of research is needed on this guy. So far he is very much in the shadows.
I question any news story that comes out. I don’t accept any news story as reality. Did you ever hear of his father before today? I hadn’t.

Unless you are from the area where the father committed crimes and was imprisoned it is unlikely you would have heard of him.
But even with a “snap” - when one goes through days of preparations, storing up ammo, and plotting this degree of attack has a motive - even if twisted.
Yeah, the 18 - 19 weapons thing is bizarre. That was the about the only angle I could come up with to explain it. The other would be that he was expecting to have “friends” join him in doing the shooting and those weapons were for them. Of course he might just be doing things that make no sense because he’s nuts. That would be the most likely answer according to Occam’s razor but the possibility of his having leftist political leanings cracks open the door to other explanations, maybe.

Paddock quit the nine to five world and went into real estate investing. It's how he became a multi-millionaire. That's the reason there's no work history after the late 80s.
I know that business. You've got to be a sharp cookie to work your way up in to owning multiple apartment complexes in different states, so he was obviously mentally stable for some time.
More will have to come out to explain what happened to him.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ISIS CLAIM ???
The media coverage on this is truly bizarre. Here you have the “Muzzi” ISIS claiming involvement showing up everywhere in the UK press but gets buried here in the US. Even in this posting which has thus far well over 100 replys and of those replys I didn’t see many that brought this up.
Shouldn’t this be left up to Moslems to deny any involvement ?
Why wont they ? Perhaps it’s because according to their codex known as Sharia the actions taken by Paddock has been sanctioned by Almighty God.
Because most political perverts don’t believe in such a thing as God they can’t concieve of followers of Islam believing in what they are doing is actually serving God. It must be something else.
So the progressive perverts running the show avoid bringing that up and blame guns.
