He was in a two-room suite: two bedrooms connected by a living room. Looks like he set up the guns in the seperate bedrooms.

Route 91 music festival recurrs each year. Shooter could have known about the festival calendar at least nine months in advance.
didn’t realize he had a two bedroom suite. Thanks for the info.

thanks, clears things up on the two window assault
“What is the hotel security protocol that allows that many weapons being brought up to a room?”
I’m sorry, what hotel has ever searched your bags? He has been there for 4 days. It would be easy to have them broken down and then bring them up over a couple of days. The thing I want to know is how the maids did not catch it? I am sure they go through my bags when I stay in a hotel.
You hang up the door sign that says "Do Not Disturb"
Don’t know....but hotel had to be booked pretty much full for sometime considering the location...
Through bogus slip and fall lawsuits, perhaps?
This shooter did a lot of preplanning for this shooting. He had to have investigated the room floor plans to know which room type would overlook the concert venue. It will be interesting to know when he made the room reservation, and what notes were included, ie, what were his specific requests, etc.
I can confirm that the hotel has been sold out for weeks. We visited Vegas Sep 20-26. My wife was researching when to go for months. She told me several times that “EVERYTHING is booked the weekend after us”...
We started seeing crowds arrive on Monday...
