Sign petition at the Whitehouse Website to end Affirmative Action for Race and Gender based set asides in education and employment
It should have ended decades ago, but it won’t end in our lifetimes.
about to sign as this racist crap needs to stop.
I thought it was meant to be a ‘leg-up... not a way of life or a permanent crutch.
It’s unconstitutional......................
Thirty some years ago, I was hired for a state job. Had everything ready to go but at 5 pm the day before, the supervisor called and was all kinds of angry to say HQ said I couldn’t be hired because they needed a token black. Thing is, no blacks lived out here so no blacks applied. The job listing remained posted for years and went unfilled. No blacks ever lived here until Katrina blew in some trash.
Bump
Signed - might be the second signature....
Number 4
signed and bumped to the top
Racism enforced with federal hammers.
I signed and I was told I needed email verification (I have an account on whitehouse.gov and it doesn’t matter if I’m logged in or not)..
So I get the email and I click the link - nothing happens..
This has always been the case.. is this the normal behavior? I expected a confirmation that verification was complete.
I think when you click the link-verification it takes you back to original website - check you popup blocker:)
Okay, figured it out.. it’s a problem between outlook and chrome...
Thanks.. I found this online and I think that’s the issue..
The main reason of hyperlinks not working in Outlook is the default Internet browser not registered (properly) in your operating system. Typically, this issue comes up after uninstalling Google Chrome or changing the default browser from Internet Explorer to either Chrome or Firefox.Jan 16, 2014
(I have several different browsers on this old machine that I used to use for testing...)
Just a moment ago I checked the Whitehouse petition website - this is set back to 99,999 signatures needed - obviously this one is going to die by the Admin State.
While the petition is right, it is time to end affirmative action, have you seen the collection of claptrap petitions?
It is out of hand and will be ignored.
Wait, we must apply it to the NFL, NBA etc.
Signed. I was screwed out of a job, that I was already doing, but it had to be posted. It was given to a pregnant woman from an “under-represented group”. Yeah, right. This bias is race based and should have never even been started.
