A gunman reportedly opened fire on a country music concert outside the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday evening.
Las Vegas Police have closed I-15 from Tropicana to Russell Road, and are asking people on the Strip to avoid the area. Reports indicate at least one gunman opened fire on crowds gathered for the Route 91 country music fest.
Update 12:22 a.m. PDT: Reuters reports that 14 of those who arrived at area hospitals are “critically wounded”:
Country music singer Jason Aldean was reportedly wrapping up his music set when the attack occurred. Video footage posted to social media captures the sound of rapid gunfire.

Those numbers are not unbelievable. I went back and re-counted the full-auto shot strings. Each of the three strings was approximately fifty (50) rounds...
With the density of that crowd, most of those rounds likely found a human target... :-(

The Asian female they looking for, Mary Lou Danly, has a minimalist Facebook page it’s one friend, a male named Izu Hara, who seems to be a gamer enameled of role playing games. He indicates he may be a Philippino. His photos show him making gang signs with his hands. He describes himself as “Legion Commander of Dota 2 and Jungle/mid at League of Legends_ Phillipines.”
She and he may or may not be related to this event.
My son, his girlfriend and her mother attended concert. Still on lockdown at the Tropicana. Don’t know when they will be allowed to leave. Thankfully all are ok.
Setting up to do a video grab of that first string — when the crowd was still in shocked silence. Going to try to count pulses on the audio track and get a count and cyclic rate.
Sounds like 50 round drum mag in full auto or possibly bump fire. 556 is my guess since a witness said his friend was hit three times in the chest but will be ok.

So did I. It started out being for health reasons while I was boosting my immune system. Now I realize that there are many reasons for not wanting to be in that environment.
