Puerto Rican born and raised, Colonel Michael A. Valle (Torch), Commander, 101st Air and Space Operations Group, and Director of the Joint Air Component Coordination Element, 1st Air Force, responsible for Hurricane Maria relief efforts, has the following comment:
They have the generators, water, food, medicine, and fuel on the ground, yet the supplies are not moving across the island as quickly as theyre needed.
Its a lack of drivers for the transport trucks, the 18 wheelers. Supplies we have. Trucks we have. There are ships full of supplies, backed up in the ports, waiting to have a vehicle to unload into. However, only 20% of the truck drivers show up to work. These are private citizens in Puerto Rico, paid by companies that are contracted by the government.. (link)
Meanwhile, amid floods and lack of power the Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulin Cruz, finds a way to get propaganda T-Shirts to politicize the tragedy on very fake news CNN.
Go figure.

Report: Puerto Rico Teamsters Union, Frente Amplio, Refuse to Deliver Supplies Use Hurricane Maria as Contract Leverage
Ping...
Put military boys in there to drive the trucks.
Fire or arrest them. Publicly shame them to show they are hurting their fellow citizens.
Like I said on another thread today:
Take all the stuff and leave, leave the humans there, bring the animals so we can find homes for them...
After that idiot Mayor Cruz (go figure) had her jaws yapping, tell them all ‘TO GO TO HELL’ and leave...
I am always slightly skeptical of sundance over at the CTH. They have labelled Breitbart as anti trump (run by bannon), labelled Drudge as anti trump, in fact anyone who has demanded Trump stick to his campaign promises they hve labelled s anti trump. Any site that crazy makes me check for some other sources before I jump to any conclusions.
No doubt provided by..... CNN!!!
Glad some one is talking about this besides Joe Pags.
... Puerto Rico Teamsters Union, Frente Amplio, Refuse to Deliver Supplies...
This just has to be the PRESIDENT’S fault.
Lots of conflicting reports coming out...
Well,... I’m not convinced this shouldn’t be a firing squad offense.
I’d give those guys six hours to show some marked movement, or the leaders of the union would be declared enemies of the state.
Any union members joining them beyond that point, would receive the same fate.
I swear I can tell a liberal by how they look...profiling? you betcha
Puerto Rico is beginning to resemble Burkina Faso.
Sounds easy enough.
Except logistics.
Puerto Rico has a population of 3.4 million
About 20% more than Chicago
Chicago has an area of 234 mi²
Puerto Rico has an area of 3,515 mi²
Our military is already involved with normal aid operations.
Not just in PR but USVI.
Where do we draw all these people from?
How do we transport them to PR?
Where do we get the added equipment and personnel to transport them?
What about the logistics of supporting them, housing, food, etc.?
It's one thing to just grab 1,000 guys to do an operation.
It's another thing to figure in all the other logistics.
Martial law now!
Our servicemen ought to arrest them
Trump should be tweeting about this and tweet a pic of labor bosses’ big houses with walls around them.
