In the months and then the years following the recession that began in 2008 one could often see daily on the highway between Tucson and Nogales vehicles packed to the brim heading south, returning to Mexico. It began again shortly after the election of Trump. It is not a heavy but a constant flow of vehicles.

The solution to sanctuary cities is exile of political leaders. The Mayors of Los Angeles and San Francisco should be arrested and exiled to say Kwajalein as seditious violators of federal law.
Since they are eligible for pensions paid by the cities and states, they will have income. Wives will be permitted to enter exile with their husbands

When FDR ‘interred’ all the Japanese in WWII, the people in LA etal were left without GARDENERS and Mexico offered to fill the void and to this day thousands and thousands of illegal Mexicans are tending lawns all over the USofA.
I remember when I was quite small, in my town the domestics (housekeepers) were black ladies, and the gardeners were elderly Japanese men.
