Governor Bruce Rauner has stabbed conservatives in the backagain. But much worse, he has ensured that thousands more babies will be killed in the womb every year in Illinois, and taxpayers will pay for their deaths.
Despite his commitment to veto HB 40, which requires taxpayers to fund the intentional killing of humans in uteroincluding healthy humans of any gestational agethrough Medicaid and state employee insurance plans, Rauner is signing it into law.
This is the same man who during the gubernatorial campaign told IFA that he believes life begins at conception. Claiming that life begins at conception and then defending a moral right of others to have innocent human lives killed constitutes a morally incoherent and repugnant position. Compelling taxpayers to subsidize morally repugnant acts is evil.

Pray a PRO-LIFE, PRO-FAMILY candidate will oppose this evil man in the Republican primary.
The majority of voters just about everywhere, even in the most liberal states, are generally opposed to unlimited abortion. Rauner can only lose votes by doing this.
So why did he? Presumably he was paid off by Planned Parenthood and the rich abortion lovers.
Proof once again that money talks and BS walks.
So why did he? Presumably he was paid off by Planned Parenthood and the rich abortion lovers.
Probably has more to do with the 14 yr old he is banging.
This is what ILLINOIS TAXES will now provide:
Provide free Medicaid abortions with no restrictions. Abortions would be covered for any reason through the nine months of pregnancy, even if an unborn baby feels pain and can survive outside the womb.
Remove the ban on state employees insurance policies paying for abortions.
Provide no monetary cap to the number of abortions that could be covered by Medicaid.
Remove language concerning the General Assemblys declaration that the unborn child is a human being from the time of conception and is, therefore, a legal person for purposes of the unborn childs right to life.
That guy is worse than Hitler.
And Republicans in Illinois haven’t started a recall petition yet? This is so bad on so many levels!
Rat gov candidate ran an (inaccurate) ad and it scared the wuss into signing the bill.
The main point of the bill was to repeal a “trigger” that would ban abortion if Roe is repealed (Pro-choice Rauner was for that part of course) but they tacked on the medicaid thing, either knowing he would sign it anyway or else they could use it in inaccurate ads to gin up feminazis if he vetoed it. Rats play hardball and eat IL RINOS for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I’ll amend that, the main point was the pass the medicaid funding for abortion, using the “trigger” repeal as a trojan horse.
Never seen a RINO this anxious to lose reelection. He’s gone way past Dick Ogilvie and Tom Corbett.
What did Corbett do wrong? Gas tax hike?
“...What did Corbett do wrong?...”
Not fighting back, for one thing.
Not fighting back, for another thing...
Didn’t fight back, for a third thing...
(Seeing a pattern here?????)
Corbett got painted with the Penn State stuff (amongst other things) and had sky-high disapproval ratings, but still insisted on running for reelection which would mean any Democrat with a pulse would win, and did.
Of course, the one time he shouldn’t have fought back (running for a second term), he did. He is entirely to blame for inflicting the imbecilic Communist Wolf on the Commonwealth.
True enough, but Wolf is pretty much hamstrung by a GOP controlled legislature.
He’s fairly impotent.
Rauner's wife is an abortion supporting Democrat liberal (self professed, stated so during the campaign) and presumably Rauner signed this to take away the abortion issue from JB Pritzker who's been running ads saying he'd sign HB-40 to keep abortion murder of the unborn legal in Illinois if the USSC overturns it.
I hate Rauner. I hope a real Conservative primaries his ass.
I hope Illinois FReepers haven't forgotten the Rauner cheerleading that went on during the primary. These so-called "conservative leaders" should have ZERO credibility with anyone with an IQ in the double digits.
Here's a good one from Stephen Moore at National Review (although I think this drivel was written after the primary)
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/383803/biggest-election-2014-stephen-moore
"If Illinois were to elect a reform-minded governor in a deep blue state thats hemorrhaging cash, it would be a thunderbolt to the political class around the nation. Illinois could become a laboratory experiment about whether conservative ideas can work in a state that has been ruled by teachers unions and a self-serving political machine in Springfield and Chicago."
I wonder what he thinks of the "conservative results" of that "laboratory experiment" now?
Here's some of the "fiscally conservative results" of Rauner's "reform" governorship, BTW:
1. Sanctuary State
2. CPS Bailout
3. Taxpayer Funded Abortions
4. Gender Modified Birth Certificates
5. Automatic Voter Registration
6. Zero Reforms
Democrats enacted some faux "recall" law a few years ago (so they could get the mainstream media to announce they "reformed" things and gave the voters what we asked for). The "recall" statute they put on the books is absolute joke and can't be used to actually "recall" anyone. It has some guidelines like you must get permission from both party's leaders in the legislature before a recall drive can be initiated, then you must get 2/3rds of all state legislators to sign a petition allowing a recall, then you must get 10,000 signatures from registered Illinois voters to get the recall proposal on the ballot...
The next election is in 13 months anyway, there’s no point having a stupid recall this late in the term, even if we had a real recall law, which we don’t.

With Republicans like Rauner, who needs Democrats ?
