First, by now the NFL’s #TakeAKnee controversy is probably already growing long in the tooth and so I apologize if I’m belaboring it. What is below is fairly important, though, as it’s a hell of a good response to the Michael Bennetts, Kenny Vaccaros and Marshawn Lynches of the world.
And second, another hell of a good response was given by Heather Mac Donald at City Journal on Monday. Mac Donald looked through the FBI’s recently-released crime statistics and found scant evidence to support the underlying cause for #TakeAKnee. As in…
Contrary to the Black Lives Matter narrative, the police have much more to fear from black males than black males have to fear from the police. In 2015, a police officer was 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male was to be killed by a police officer. Black males have made up 42 percent of all cop-killers over the last decade, though they are only 6 percent of the population. That 18.5 ratio undoubtedly worsened in 2016, in light of the 53 percent increase in gun murders of officers — committed vastly and disproportionately by black males. Among all homicide suspects whose race was known, white killers of blacks numbered only 243.
So you have a protest based more or less on a myth, and the protest itself is obnoxious, stupid, and completely counterproductive.

“When the election of my president broke barriers never thought possible in America but ended up being the high point of his eight years in office… I didn’t take a knee.
“In all that time I never disrespected our Country, our Armed Forces and Veterans, or our Nation.

I would only add to this none of us took a knee when the president deployed the combined power of the intelligence community to spy on an opposition party’s candidate and, finding no incriminating opposition research therefrom, wove together a few disparate strands of data, many of them false, into a narrative of foreign influence “hacking” an election to discredit the candidate.
In retrospect, maybe we should have taken that knee. Isn’t it what all the cool kids do?
That is a great point that needs to hammered back at the NFL, the police are much more likely to be killed by a black male then that same black male is to be killed by a cop.
There’s no coherent explanation of the “take a knee” purpose.
There’s no coherent explanation of why kneeling is protest (classic sign of submission).
At this point, it’s just a fad so protest-minded people can protest...something.

And yet all the other useful idiots are "linking arms in solidarity" of that incoherent purpose. Disgusting pukes.

The players don't know what the linked arm thing is all about but they know it makes them appear sympathetic to downtrodden Black millionaire football players.
The problem here is not connecting the dots to the democrats who created racial divisuon when Obama through the abuse of his office and the “Bully Pulpit” began creating “victims” out of blacks engaged in criminal activities who were not just resisting legal arrest but responding by attacking legal authority and endangering their lives .
Until this get exposed along with its political purposes which was creating racial division and a impeachable proof barrier as the continung political discourse which has been expanded to include “white guilt” will continue.
When blame the cops for cold blooded killings started by Obama’s it was through his use of the Bully Pulpit. It began with his comments during the Zimmerman trial. Those inspired at least 10* deadly assaults ending in death of any non black who wandered near or in “hoods” controlled by members cf black ganags. One such noteable case is that of Christopher Lane an Australian murdered by Crypts while visiting Duncan Oklahoma.*(I think the figure is more like 20 racially inspired murders)
Obama was never held accountable for his inflamatory remarks. And because he wasn’t he contunued hammering away creating a wider racial division targeting police authority which resulted in cops being targeted and murdered in cold blood.
THESE TALKING POINTS SHOULD BE BROUGHT OUT WHEN THE NFL ACTION GETS DISCUSSED BUT AREN’T BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA’S INVOLVEMENT ...

Remember when Tim Tebow would kneel to pray, and it was called “Tebowing”? Maybe the act of “taking a knee” should be called “Kaepernicking” in honor of it originator. The “locking of arms” should just be called “gay”.
A conservative quarterback will now have to fall on his face instead of taking a knee to run out the clock!
And he was criticized and castigated for it, told to keep his "religion" to himself. Now we can only openly display the leftist religion of BLM on the field. NOPE.
