Actually, since they’ve invested over $100,000 into his West Point education...I think this deserves more thought.
In this case, I’d bring the young Lt to an installation and give him a one-man office (forbid him from supervising anyone), and put him in charge of a logistical function for his required service time (figure four years). Make him show up eight hours each day and be accountable for the purchase of equipment and supplies. Have quarterly audits done over his purchases of equipment. Force him to participate in the Army system and the capitalist system, with no excuses allowed.
At the end of four years, release him on schedule. My guess is that he’ll come to realize that he’s a poor candidate for communism.
Yup..... and remember.... the Secret Service Agent, Kerry O’Grady, who stated almost a year ago that she would “not take a bullet for President Trump” is still getting paid a six figure salary on our dime.

It is not a military or civilian crime to endorse communism, although it certainly would be grounds for revocation of his security clearance.
On the other hand, his derogatory comments about certain military and civilian superiors are flagrant violations of Articles 88, 133, and 134 of the UCMJ. They are punishable as a GCM may see fit, including significant time in the Disciplinary Barracks at Leavenworth.... and that is not an overreaction!
Overreact? This piece of crap should be article 88 for conduct unbecoming an officer kicked out and made to repaid the cost of his West Point education since he clearly has not fulfilled the agreement he signed when he entered the Academy. Out!!

To be a Communist is to believe in the violent - NON-CONSTITUTIONAL - overthrow of the existing political order!

Mattis must take a look at West Point. They are obviously failing and have become too PC. This guy, Rapone, should have been kicked out of the Academy within 30 days in his freshman year - no excuse.
How many years before this happens? Punishment should be swift & fierce.
