In my deer zone this year, the DNR believes that there are way too many deer, so, if you buy a license, you may shoot either a buck or a doe.

They’ve done this in the past and the results caused a years long lack of deer.

They got a real problem with them in the UP of Michigan.

Cattle farmers around there are adopting burros from down here and setting them out with the cattle. Donkeys will KILL a wolf or coyote. One farmer told me he hasnt lost one calf to a wolf attack since he did that.

Guess the wolves cant quite figure it all out.

When I was a kid we traveled up to Backus, MN about 180 north of Minneapolis and along the way we would stop at Deerland or Deer Park. I remember a deer drinking my grape pop from the bottle and laying down on my feet.

Also visited Paul Bunyan Land. He waved at me when I showed up and said my name out loud.

The deer population in my neighborhood is up thousands of percent.

I expect coyote inroads. We have no wolves to speak of.

We are lousy with deer in GA. You can take 14 per season, 2 per day. We have them running through our front yard.
