He’s already on it I believe from his previous offenses. He can’t walk his son all the way to school. Has to stay so many feet away from all schools.

Actually he’s following Federal procedure for white collar convicts. He’s been sentenced to 21 months, to start both no later than Nov. 6, 2017. If you want to know a little about how this works with a plea bargain, like his, read “Orange is the New Black”, the autobiographical book that’s the basis for the cable series with the same name. Once the author of that book made her plea deal for a drug money running offense, she was given a specific period of time to report to a Federal prison camp to serve her sentence. Looks like Weiner’s getting the same kind of deal, but with a longer sentence.
You beat me to the question. If Weiner has half a brain (debatable), you’d think he has at least one card that remains unplayed. Unfortunately for him, Huma is gone, and she won’t be asking for any favors from the Clintons on his behalf. Then, there’s the question of who Weiner could cut a deal with. It’s very obvious Robert Mueller has no interest in going after Hillary, despite overwhelming evidence of numerous felony crimes, and the Sessions DOJ seems equally uninterested.
With no one willing to cut any deals, looks like Weiner should prepare to settle in and do his time. I’m guessing whatever favors he received were avoidance of child porn charges and the relatively short sentence for the crimes he was convicted on. In return, he agrees to keep his mouth shut and is allowed to continue breathing.
The real question is what happens after Carlos Danger is released. He served long enough in Congress for a pension (about $60K a year, but he can’t collect for another decade). Can’t imagine any publisher who might be interested in his memoir—and the Clintons will ensure that lack of interest.
As for future employment, his future prospects are equally dim. His education credentials consists of a B.A. in Political Science. Weiner’s work experience includes his days in Congress, a couple of terms on the city council in NYC and six years as a flunky for Chuckie Schumer.
It will be interesting to see how Weiner supports himself after leaving the big house. Currently, he appears to be on the fast track to being the first former member of Congress to become homeless, but then again, it’s always surprising to see how disgraced pols manage to find a big paycheck and live in comfort after leaving prison. Something tells me Weiner will be no exception. Too bad; he deserves a lot worse. Of course the real crime is that his ex-wife will never see the inside of a prison cell. Weiner is a pervert; his wife is part of a real criminal enterprise.
He should be hanged.
Not that I don’t think he deserves it, but I feel really sorry for the little boy. My daughter is the same age. Huma has never been much of a mother to that boy. I assume he will stay with the Muslim Brotherhood Granny. I realize Weiner endangered his child, but he was a single father for all intents and purposes. Poor kid. Too bad Weiner only cared about Tiny Weiner above all else.

Again, the question is who does Weiner tell his story to? Mueller won’t touch Hillary, and Jeff Sessions appears remarkably uninterested in her crimes. Weiner can sing all day, but if the feds aren’t listening, it’s all for naught.
Plus, I’m sure he realizes that people who testify against the Clintons have a way of turning up dead. And it wouldn’t surprise me if Weiner’s real “deal” includes some sort of income after leaving prison, in exchange for his continued silence.
Oh, boo fukking hoo, you sleaze bag. If it was up to me, it would have been 21 YEARS with parole possible only after 10 1/2 years served. And none of this cushy country-club prison crap either.

It wasn’t a real marriage. I don’t think Huma COULD dump Weiner and she still hasn’t. He knows too much. Aren’t they still living together, with MBGranny and boy? I don’t know how often Huma is there. She is still closer to Hillary than Dr. diezepam.
This sentencing is pathetic, he should of got at least a 10 to 20 year stretch! Instead he will go to some high-end Federal Prison getting kid glove treatment!

But she was sentenced to just a year right? I think they are in like Season 5 of that show now! So either her sentence got extended or the timeline of the show is in slow motion. I guess I ought to put that show back on my watchlist. The lesbian stuff was a bit much at times but overall it was an interesting show.

There may be some connection to Weiner concerning Her Heinous’ emails. How ironic. Hilary Clinton started out interning for a committee trying to take down “Tricky Dick” Nixon. She may yet be taken down by another “Tricky Dick”. Karma’s a bitch. Discovery is her evil twin.
