Google trackers have been found on 75% of the top million websites. This means they are not only tracking what you search for, they're also tracking which websites you visit, and using all your data for ads that follow you around the internet. Ciao.
How can anyone continue to use facebook when we know fully the goals of mr. zuckerberg?
Firefox or Edge for browser.
Because I don’t inconvenience myself with pointless boycotts. FB is a vital communication platform for me. And a game platform. With 2 billion monthly active users the only person that would get punished if I left FB would be me.
Brave works as a browser
“Because I dont inconvenience myself with pointless boycotts.”
Fair enough. Nobody would expect you to inconvenience yourself.
The important part there is the “pointless”. As I said, and you studiously ignored, FB has over 2 billion unique users a month. If I boycotted them they wouldn’t even notice. The only purpose of such a boycott is virtue signalling, not my thing.
You have a valid point. I just closed my Amazon account, my Ebay account and my Paypal account. I realize that those global behemoths will not miss me one bit. Still, I could not in good conscience “engage” with them any longer. Many of my conservative friends still “submit” to google, facebook, etc. I don’t blame them. Everyone must decide for themself when it is time to part ways with the Devil. I confess I continued doing business with all of them for several years after I already knew they were evil. It’s strictly a personal thing.
