President Trump turned on the NFL commissioner this evening, after Roger Goodell spoke out about the president condemning players who kneel in protest during the national anthem and calling on team owners to fire those players.
In a tweet, Trump said Goodell is "trying to justify the total disrespect certain players show to our country."

It should be a 15-point per kneeler penalty. Let a team face the kickoff with a 75-point deficit and see how long it continues.

If this is the way it will be in sports, then ditch the anthem,flags,military honor guards,flyovers,fake Vet tributes and cleanse anything American and STFU and play ball. My feeling is that will not be enough because it NEVER is. That’s the big lie.

What Goodell and owners - the supposed cooler heads in the NFL - should be doing instead of justifying disrespect is encouraging their pampered performers to ponder on the words of Thomas Sowell - black economist, social theorist, political philosopher, and author:
“When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment (then) seems like discrimination.”
In one sentence Sowell nails why so many young blacks think they’re being discriminated against and babble about white privilege while what whites see is them getting special treatment and only demanding more.
When I was working as a flight attendant, I remember there was another flight attendant who went to a Letterman show taping during her layover in New York. She was not in uniform, but Letterman was doing his audience shtick and got her to tell him who she worked for and how she really felt about passengers. "The passenger is the enemy," she said, and got a huge laugh.
Letterman took that and ran with it. Kept mentioning it throughout the show. "Come fly with us, where we treat you like the enemy!"
She got fired before she even got back to the hotel. Had to buy her own plane ticket home.
You do not embarrass your employer, and you definitely do not belittle, degrade or humiliate your customers.

What the rich white NFL owners are saying is that their blacks cannot be expected to act professionally in their employment on their plantations. It is a black thing we cannot understand.

I used to watch sports to have a break for the problems of the world and politics. Now I don’t tune in as it is too politicized.
