You think that crowd was showing strong support when President Trump talked about Mr. Strange in that speech?   All I heard was very week support for Mr. Strange. In other parts of the speech, when Trump was NOT talking about Strange, Trump got a much louder response from the crowd.   (Of course, for both of us, the perceived enthusiasm levels of the crowd responses are just matters of opinion, not fact, but we should find out in a few days -- on Tuesday -- how much impact Trump's Strange speech really had on Alabama's Republicans.)

This is another false choice pushed on us by the GOP. It doesn’t have to be this bill or nothing, they choose for it to be. So again they’re telling us this is all we’ll get, take it or pay the price.

Same trick as RINO or Democrat, what’s the difference once you’ve compromised your values, sucked it up, and voted RINO? In the end, we’re just as screwed.

At some point we have to hit the streets with pitchforks and torches. They’re dictators not representatives of the people.

Alabama FReeper "Bodleian_Girl" showed us how strong a Christian Mr. Strange is, by revealing in this link (which she pointed to in her posts 58 & 59 in this thread), what Alabama knows about Strange, and why they are not voting for him.   If her posts are true, Strange is about as strong a Christian, as the crowd responses were strong when Trump mentioned Strange at his rally.

Well....now you got that off your chest I trust you fell better.

I will say again...there’s a big picture YOU nor are others privy to....Trump needs to ‘find’ those who not only understand it but can be in it to direct where this nation goes...and that not only here but beyond...he needs real patriots who love this country and want to “save it”....because we’re in a whole lot of hurt more than most realize if Trump isn’t ‘given the room to operate’...he has the big picture...and it’s deadly if we don’t play it right.

He’s not perfect and he’s certainly never been President...let hi fail...he doesn’t lay around long before he’s at it again..making the changes he needs to and hopefully without too much collateral damage as he goes.

I didn’t vote for “advisors” I voted for a an who knows how to delegate responsibility to the right people he thinks will get the job done....and he may very well be throwing out a lot more before he’s done.

PS..God given values have a good place on calm waters.....in a mighty storm with a ship breaking apart you need strong men with the fortitude to hold it together with one hand and steer with the other.......and social issues are not so relevant when you’re going down.

That's not what President Trump said.   In his speech for Strange tonight, he insisted that they will get their repeal/replace at some point, no matter what happens in the current senate vote, or in the Alabama elections.
