His support for Strange is seen for what it is and Trump knows it. It is acting to pull voters for Moore to the voting booth. Trump gets some obs planted on McConnell at no cost to him or to Moore.

That is a very important point. Any person supported by Ryan or McConnell (or Schumer or Pelosi for that matter) will stab Trump in the back at the first opportunity.

It is too late to complain about Trump or to question him. He is the last hope for a hiatus in the march toward totalitarianism and collapse. He surely knows that and is doing things his way. The only way he can be more effective in getting big things (more big things) done is to collaborate with the generals for a coup.That is not going to happen. What the fight is about is preventing the Oligarchy from staging their own coup through assassination or impeachment or whatever else they can gin up. Trump likes Lurch Strange because he’s 6-9 inches tall.

He loved Mattis from the minute someone said he’s called “Mad Dog”. He thought Mattis was the second coming of Patton. If he did a little research on Mattis he would have learned he’s an academic, not a fighter. He’s stabbed Trump in the back on drag queens on active duty by basically ignoring an order to get rid of them, instead they’re reenlisting. Strange has been a Washington, DC lobbyst for 23 years and owns a home there. He’s made a fortune off the cheap labor express. Trump is so desparate for McConnell to like him he would support anyone McConnell wants. Anyone.

In that video, starting at 1:01:40 to the end, Judge Roy Moore references the articles that PROVE Ryan and McConnell's involvement, and financial support AGAINST the TWO conservative candidates in this Republican Primary.
It was VERY revealing, presenting the FACTS as Judge Moore did.

I think the GOPe wants Luther because he’s dirty and can be controlled.

There is currently a big EPA bribery case and one of our state legislatures in going to prison over it.

The scuttlebutt is that the law firm where Luther’s Jennifer is employed bribed the legislature to get the black folks in this neighborhood to object to the EPA declaring the area a superfund site.

Every time Trump praises Strange, he's getting a very weak, tepid response from the Alabama crowd.

That's not true at all... especially when the President reminded the crowd of Luther's vote on repeal/replace and speaking of loyalty.
