Was there damage from climate change? I don’t think so, just about every bit of the damage came from repeated batterings by successive hurricanes, which are rather severe forms of weather, but not really “climate” as a whole.

There were hurricanes occurring for perhaps millions of years, in some form or another, across the landscape of the earth, yet there was never a correlation established between various periods of climatic warming (or cooling) and the intensity or frequency of hurricanes.

There is not enough information to make this assertion.

Obviously God should be made to pay because if He had never created the universe, the earth and mankind, then there would have been this planet on which to have global warming or mankind to possibly have any effect.
