The owner of a Metro PCS store says he has learned that 32 Metro PCS stores in South Florida were victimized by looters as Hurricane Irma was bearing down on the area.
Sam Brejt tells CBS4s Peter DOench in an exclusive interview that looters struck his store at 254 N.W. 36th St. sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 10th. Brejt says the criminals drove their truck through the front glass door, causing $10,000 worth of damage just to the door itself.

Metro PCS tries to serve underserved neighborhoods because we try to work within the community, said Brejt.
Guess Mr. Brejt never heard of the fable of the scorpion and frog.
How did that work out for them?
All those phones will be worthless.
Serial numbers and Sim cards can be excluded...............

Maybe they were just trying to Rescue those phones so they didn’t get all wet, which would ruin them???

” 32 Metro PCS stores in South Florida were victimized by looters”
Yet another predictable situation where professional trigger control is called for.
Boo Hoo girl is sad!
It appears they should be able to shut down the free obamafome service in those areas.
... said no headline, ever.
I never heard “victimized” used this way. Store owners could be victimized but an object?
Insurance.
How come we never heard so many reports of looting in Houston after Harvey than we now are bombarded with stories of looters in Florida?
Gee. I wonder what is the key factor that results in so much more looting in Florida?
My city has a problem with no grocery stores in a certain part of town. Shoplifting and theft is the biggest reason.
The council voted to ban new Dollar type stores for 6 months. Some solution huh?
They need a ban on Shoplifting.

We have 99cent stores here that have a huge grocery section...frozen food and fresh vegetables included. We have a boat in Ventura and when I’m there by myself I buy my groceries at the 99 cent store. I can spend $20 and bring half the groceries home with me. After my dad died my mom almost ate exclusively out of the one near her.
Stupid to ban them. They are a great resource for food without spending a lot of money. Especially for people that are buying food for 1 person.
Well, some groups of people are not known for their ability to analyze a situation and devise a proper solution. They’d rather fill a sandbox one grain at a time.
They are too stupid to know that.
I didn’t want to say it...................
