No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote.

Strawman??? Use your own words. Tell me for the record. Will congress Pass a DACA amnesty bill? Will trump sign it?

The answer to both those questions is YES. The red flags have been there for some time. Answer those two questions on the record.

——we still will not see a complete border containment completed, ever.-—

You are correct. Some wall segments will be constructed in known high penetration areas.

Pressure on Mexico to act to stop border crossing will increase to the point the mexican government curtails the flow.

Based on the past behavior of the Dims, Trump should say that DACA gets voted on AFTER the funding for the wall is passed and signed into law.

I see it too Rummy and it ain’t pretty. He doesn’t seem to have the core conviction necessary to get done what he promised to do. It’s almost like he offered things up he never really bought into. I sincerely hope this is not true but....so far, this is what I’m seeing.

Like funding PP or anything else

What do you honestly think he will get out of this deal???

At best..some dollars for extra border security that he would get anyway.

The image of him as a strong negotiator keeps failing because he gives up ground so easily....or maybe daca amnesty was just the plan all along

He is either a terrible negotiator or a social democrat

“Tell me for the record.”

ROFLMAO!!! You my boss now?

“Will congress Pass a DACA amnesty bill?”

As I stated a few days ago in a different thread, I do NOT believe Congress will pass a DACA amnesty bill.

“Will trump sign it?”

As I stated a few days ago in a different thread I do not believe Congress will pass a DACA amnesty bill, therefore there will be no such bill for President Trump to sign.

Now if you ask me these questions again, I am going to refer you back to this post every single time.

The only “wall” his tweets refer as in process is work being done to repair existing structures.

Once again Trump’s vague communication allows his worshipers to hear what they want to hear. Trump is playing chess alright, but the opponent isn’t who many people think it is.

#72: "I’m no longer hopeful we will see any significant part of Trump’s campaign promises actually implemented."

One by one everyone on Donald Trump's staff, and in his administration, who sided with the American voter and the campaign promises has been eliminated. What remains in the administration are officers of the Deep State. My God we have an Islamist, apologist for Hezbollah and hater of Israel as National Security Adviser.

And where the campaign promises were plain, clear, and unequivocal, they have slowly dry rotted and morphed into squishy versions couched in government speak and ambiguity.

Brass tacks..trump is for amnesty..you just pretend congress wont pass a bill so you wont answer the real question

I did not vote for President Trump to rule like Obama ... period.

DACA is a religious ‘faith based charity’ and like it or NOT Congress pays so called religious charities for these illegals... W Bush started this ‘taxpayer’ funding of ‘faith based charities’... US tax payers are shelling out billions to these human trafficking operations..

“Because they are non-governmental organizations (NGOs), they can and do lobby for advantageous changes to immigration law and build allies in Congress and the bureaucracy, all fertilized by an open spigot of taxpayer dollars. While six of the nine contractors are affiliated with religious groups, the false notion that they are charitable organizations just doing the Lord’s work needs to be corrected. They are federal contractors, relying on the government for most, and sometimes all, of their income. This is big business. They do the government’s bidding, whether it honors religious principles or not.”

Republicans in Congress want DACA as bad as the DIMS.

He was never going to be what people here conned themselves into believing. I knew I wouldn’t like much of what he did but settled for some key issues.
Immigration ..military...and SCOTUS

He is better than hillary. Better than Jeb. Probably better than Cruz although on that i am not so sure anymore . He will get some beneficial things done. He can make a long lasting differences in the justice system.

But bannon white board of promises..gone

Any support I have for the "dreamers" is what AG Sessions said. No one else can apply, ever. They had their chance. The parents can't be protected.

Part of any deal should be making EVerify being the law of the land, and that would include to sign up for benefits, education, and medical care. Just that would probably force a lot of the criminal invader parents to return home.

As far as the costs for education? That's awful, and the NEA is complicit. If going forward children are EVerified and sent home, that's fine. The fact that they're already educated here is an argument to keep them here.

Agree. I am wondering when people will understand this point and get over a "wall" from Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico. Ain't going to happen. Another point, we need to start studying and preparing for invasion from the north. Canada is letting so many Islamic fundamentalist into their country now and their monitoring of VISAs is not much better than ours

Pressure on Mexico to act to stop border crossing will increase to the point the mexican government curtails the flow.

Do not believe this will be successful. It is not in Mexico's interest to curtail the outflow of the illegals. Sanctions may help but as long as NAFTA and CAFTA are in place I don't believe sanctions are doable. Maybe some 5D chess will work

Trump basically confessed that he is for DACA amnesty and he is only upgrading existing wall instead of building new wall, yet those chessplayers still hail him as the second coming of Jesus.

I forgot to mention my thought that there will likely be a short military incursion into Mexico to obliterate cartel organizations.

That will provide some encouragement
