No deal was made last night on DACA
Twitter ^ | September 14, 2017 | Donald J. Trump

No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote.

I am struggling with who Trump is right now...Kelly and McMaster really concern me. His next couple moves will determine if yes most me or if I remain loyal.

It appears to be both. Pretty sure we got sold a bill of goods. It was crystal clear when we had the first opportunity to get rid of obamacare and who did he go after to blame? Conservatives. Only the conservatives.

That told me right there he is NOT going to implement any of the promises he made and he DOES come across as a very bad negotiator because he never gets things done.

Ryan and McConnell will write legislation for a complete border wall security system, and they will write also that some dreamers SOME will be eligible to stay.

There are many liars among Dreamers. They were not brought as children, they have not been in the USA for as long as they claim, etc. When the legislation gets signed, there will be a thousand ways to deny applications based on lack of documentation, bad faith.

The President will keep his promise on border security. The President said in his campaign that he would have to have a CLOSE LOOK at the Dreamer situation meaning it;s case by case. There will be no blanket amnesty for 800,000 persons.

The President is negotiating from a position of strength. Pelosi-Schumer can fantasize they made the President buckle but the reality is different and between now and 2018 midterms, the reality will become clear that we got massive border security and we allowed SOME Dreamers to stay in the US.

Like the conservative on SCOTUS he was not going to do.

Or “Trump’s travel ban will never happen because he is afraid of the courts!!1”

Or the Paris Accord that he was supposed never going to leave

Or Opening up NAFTA.....which “OF COURSE” he would never do.

Or “OMG HE AFRAID TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ANTIFA!”

Or “Trump will totally fold on N. Korea”

O all manner of assortment of stuff you people swear to Christ at the time he would not do that he promised.

It’s like you get this stuff. immediatly forget, and then pretend like they never happened!

Trump is only as good as the past 24 hours to a side of the aisle so arrogant that they seem to forget the past 24 years they haven’t accomplished much more than complain.

The real questioning of “cor convictions” need to be placed on the people over here that are all talk, no results, but feel some righteous ability to question the one guy that has actually gotten things done.

Or actually stopping the anti-male rape courts on colleges.

No citizenship for these illegal aliens ever

I'd go in the opposite direction. Give them two years maximum to become US citizens. It would involve learning English, NO law breaking, taking citizenship and US history courses, passing the citizenship test, no dual citizenship. That would cut down on the numbers and force them to work with the gov during the process. I don't like the idea of second-class citizens who haven't demonstrated their commitment to living here.

Cant say if you are right or wrong. We will just have to wait and see. I dont trust any of them. Eric Cantor admitted what a farce it really is...

Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military?

Yeah, pretty much...get 'em out. They should be very sought-after down there, as they Make Mexico Great Again.

(Case-by-case exceptions for the active-duty and veterans, special consideration for the combat vets.)

straw man ˌstrô ˈman/ noun noun: strawman 1. an intentionally misrepresented proposition that is set up because it is easier to defeat than an opponent's real argument. "her familiar procedure of creating a straw man by exaggerating their approach" 2. a person regarded as having no substance or integrity.

Right—and what is loyal to the country, as part of Trump’s “base”, is to squeal as loud as possible.

If we don’t get him to hold to his promises, the country is lost.

If they do a deal along the lines they supposedly discussed, then it’s a sell out. No different than the Reagan amnesty, with a vague promise that they will increase security in the future.

It was Pelosi and Schumer. When they breathe, they lie. Didn’t expect anything else. They thought they could roll Trump by presenting a false narrative and figured they’d immediately go to the “he reneged” theme if he didn’t roll. These people give lowlife scum a bad name.

Not using a strawman. I am asking you a DIRECT question which you refuse to answer trying to weasel out of it.

Trump is clearly for amnesty.

Does Trump want to give amnesty to DACA people. YES OR NO

Hannity: “If POTUS doesn’t keep that promise [for a wall], and goes for amnesty, it will be the political equivalent of ‘read my lips, no new taxes.’”

All: personally, I am more disturbed by this than no wall-—a “naked” DACA bill would be harder not easier to pass. Don’t want to see sweeteners.
