Long time DOJ, rose in Civil Rights division and was fired, oops, I mean he resigned, over the Black Panther Poll watchers case (he objected too strongly to it being dropped). He also filed a Bar complaint in Florida (before he was in the DOJ) against Hugh Rodham (Hillary's brother).
His columns appear at Townhall.com. He impresses me as a sincere and honest individual. We need more people like him in government.

I heard on radio news that a desire to not interfere with the Mueller investigation was the reason given to prevent the FBI agents from testifying.
If they follow that guideline on the issues that might be tangential to Mueller's BS investigation, it might rule out Congress pursuing many areas that need to be pursued.

If so, he doesn’t want to muddy the water by letting the Senate Committee question potential trial witnesses.

A conservative guest on FOX News said today that Sessions needs a Press office. He is head down to a fault, imho.
He has no clue, possibly, that his credibility is splintering and his reputation is burning. No one is helping him learn that he needs issue professionals around.
Btw, Valerie Jarrett’s daughter is “covering” the Justice Department for some organization. Maybe this is why Sessions has no press dept.
