A proposed bill would still prohibit state and local police in California from asking about people's immigration status or enforcing federal immigration laws
California Gov. Jerry Brown and the state Senate leader said Monday they've agreed to changes in proposed legislation that would further restrict interactions between law enforcement officers and federal immigration agents.
The agreement came on the same day the state sued the Trump administration over its decision to end a program that shields young immigrants from deportation.
Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, agreed to changes demanded by Brown following fierce opposition from sheriffs and other law-enforcement officials.

If states can ignore Fed laws, why can’t individuals ignore STATE laws..?
If they can ignore crimes that non-citizens commit, why can’t they ignore crimes citizens commit? Where is the 14th amendment?

friends and I have joked that one of us needs to run for mayor and declare our city a second amendment sanctuary. Allow people to violate all the ridiculous gun laws California has passed. Some how I don’t think La Raza...er...I mean the California legislature would be very accommodating.

Half of Kevin de Leon’s family are wetbacks who fraudulently obtained SS documents. Which is identify theft. He says that is okay and doesn’t compare to Russian collusion. Not only are the crooks in charge, they are arragent and stupid.
