Low 80s are fine with us, though it’ll be more humid next week and that’ll make it a bit steamy. It’s been dry this week so it’s felt wonderful.
Except at night. Had to wear a sweater and SHOES with socks when we went out tonight. Felt all bound up. LOL!
Based on the few videos I’ve seen from Rockport, I’d say “wiped out” is a pretty good description. They took a HARD hit. :-(
Welcome, everyone to this weekend's edition of the Canteen Music Dedication. The music in this thread is provided for the enjoyment of the troops and their families.
Please support the artists in this thread. Buy their music and attend their concerts when they come to your area.
We'd like to thank the Canteen DJ's for all their hard work in posting the music to today's thread.
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
YOU wore SHOES?? Say it isn’t so! LOL!
I haven’t given up my sandals yet. it gets down into the low to mid-60s at night, but that’s not cool enough for sox.
Guess I’d better go for reals. I’m kind of sleepy. I stayed up waaaay too long last night listening to reports from the Mexico earthquake. Silly me!
Yes, shoes AND socks! We sit outside in the beer garden and it was too chilly not to wear them this evening. Not used to it this time of year but the tootsies survived the ordeal. LOL
Good night and get a good long sleep. You’ll probably stay up too late again tomorrow night.
That reminds me that I need to check the schedule for DVRing.
I just bought something for me....a 43” tv. Nice........
Are you going to get a big one?
I’m just amazed I saw this puff piece on CBS last night that showed the football team on the field practicing already.’
First reports were that the HS was wiped out
does anyone outside of my midwestern butt remember city mock chicken?

Yesterday was a Hike, Bike, (but alas no Open Mike!) Day.

The turkey farm was gone but we had piggies and strawberries lol and sweetcorn
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is well here. A pretty coolish day which I want to enjoy because it’s supposed to get back up to nearly 100 next week. *whimper*
Hope you and Bo have a fine weekend and fun at the lake!
