He recalled how he prayed with Warren and her husband, Bruce Mann, at her request, before every debate in her race against Scott Brown.Culpepper joined her again in prayer just before she took the stage to give her speech to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., the biggest moment in her fledgling political career up to that point.
"She also believes in the Word of God, and wants to live according to the biblical teachings," he said. It's a relatively private side of Warren that would almost inevitably become more public if she decides to run for president. Warren says she is squarely focused on her Senate reelection race.

This particular Baptist preacher is not a salvationist. His ministry is built upon social doctrine explicitly excluding any mention of Christ or His salvation.
He may well pray but it is unclear to whom he is praying.

Maybe what she means is that she is a white “christian” democrat supremacist? I mean she wants the gay pride and now slides towards “Christian pride”. It sounds mighty suspicious.
Liberals are supremacists, as they always side with a society mimicking their soul, in conflict of interest. But a gay convict who would praise a person better than him, moraly speaking, would be making a sort of selfless act of promoting what he is not with the risk of being condemned.
So when a democrat say they are christian, they might use a reverse form of narcissism, ascribing the good out there to themselves, and themselves being part of it.
